Apparently George Floyd’s brother feels he’s entitled to bombard Donald Trump with his politically motivated Ideology – May 31, 2020,
Being that George Floyd’s brother referred to the killing of George Floyd as a modern-day lynching and kept trying to revert the conversation into something politically motivated, I can personally see why Donald Trump whose had to deal with the Coronavirus and all other sorts of problems would want to get George Floyd’s brother off he phone.
Now I’m not entirely sure how the conversation between George Floyd’s brother and Donald Trump went, but I know personally that I find it irritating when someone is trying to usurp my power or get me to move into a direction or think they think is best.
Listening to someone express their sorrow is one, thing, referring to a cop killing another human as a modern-day lynching is something else. When someone says the following to you, how do you respond to this?
“He didn’t give me an opportunity to even speak,” Floyd told MSNBC on Saturday. “It was hard. I was trying to talk to him, but he just kept, like, pushing me off, like ‘I don’t want to hear what you’re talking about.’
“And I just told him, I want justice. I said that I couldn’t believe that they committed a modern-day lynching in broad daylight.”
Donald Trump is the president, he’s not an authoritarian, there are courts that will handle this matter, if this was Philonise Floyd approach to speaking to another man, I personally think he went about it in the wrong way. Trump can’t make Philonise Floyd any promises. Now if you don’t think this is politically motivated consider what else happened
Joe Biden, Trump’s presumptive challenger in the presidential election in November, also spoke to the family and issued a video address in which he called for calm.
“I asked Vice-President Biden – I never had to beg a man before – but I asked him, could he please, please get justice for my brother,” Philonise Floyd said.
“I need it. I do not want to see him on a shirt just like the other guys. Nobody deserved that. Black folk don’t deserve that. We’re all dying.
“Black lives matter.”
You can’t tell me that Philonise Floyd’s words weren’t politically motivated, now when someone is basically trying to force you to accept their solution, they’re backing you into a corner, the little that I read as it relates to Philonise Floyd sounds politically motivated. “Black lives matter” is an international activist movement, that CAMPAIGNS against violence and systemic racism towards black people.
By reading what Philonise Floyd said, even f it wasn’t his intention, it sounds like his words were politically motivated. I’m certain if Philonise Floyd approached the situation differently his results would have been different. If anyone calls my house and tries to create a narrative in which they think I should adhere too, I’m hanging up my phone as soon as possible.
Interesting times ahead!
