Scam………….big time! I somehow totally missed this one! I answered some questions and was told I would get a free sample of Acai. Of course I was only asked to pay 3.97 shipping & handling. Apparently there were terms which in the past I would not have missed (but somehow did miss), however I go into my bank account to see that I have been electronically debited $158.00, money I did not have in that account and so it was deducted from my savings leaving me one cent. Here we are in a recession and I am doing so much to pay attention to my bills. I am self-employed, business has been slow and now I naively lose all my savings totalling only $150.00 with times being what they are. I am very upset.

I too was ripped off by this scam this week. I took a survey on line that told me to choose 1 of the free items below. I choose this item and I thought I was told to provide my credit card for the $3.97 shipping fee with no email confirmation showing charges that would be applied which is also unusual. One day later there is a charge on my checking account of $158.13 and when I called I was told the trial period was over and that there are no refunds. I explained how can there be a trial period I don’t even have the product yet. She explained that they have taken the survey and it it takes you right to their website and I clicked I agree to their terms and conditions and there would be no refund, however would be happy to cancel my subscription. I told them I would return the product when I receive it unopened and she stated go ahead the warehouse will just throw it away. This charge also overdrew my checking account. I am also very upset.

I also did a survey and was supposed to receive a trial period of acia berry, and I had so long to cancel if I was not satisfied. Well not true, I was wondering why my shipment was not here with in a few days, so that if I did not like it I could cancel my subscription. I thought I read it thuroughly. I read it over and over before asking my friend to use his card and was planning only oweing $3.97. But to find out I am paying for a membership before I even get to try out the product. That is sooo wrong. I have no income, and trying to get on disability, and trying to do something healthy. Now I have to come up with a bit over $158.00 to pay my friend bck, and the trust he had in me. This really sucks. I hope more people get to know about this. I am sure there are alot of people out there that this is happening to. This is very upseting, and I do not know what I am going to do.

They just stole my money-158.13 .

I was suckered too. I called the posted number and they absolutely won’t refund your money. They also gave me 2 bogus websites that are supposedly part of this membership program. No such urls exist. I’ve filed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I suggest anyone else involved file one too. Then maybe we’ll get our refund and they will get shut down.

I too fell pray to this company. I called and they said I had to go to the bank and do a reverse payment. Well my bank said there was no such thing. I had to cancel my debit card and file an unauthorized withdrawl complaint. I should know something in 3 days. Anyone who hunas been ripped off needs to file an unauthorized withdrawl complaint. Maybe if enough people do this we can get our money back and put this company out of business. Needless to say i’m very upset because now I have over draft fees that I wouldn’t have this has cause unnessary stress. Please complain also go to Better Business Burea and check them out on it and complain there. Lets try to shut this scam down.

I also fell prey to this company. Total ripoff. Misleading marketing and the worst is that I feel stupid! The website where I found this represents a different product each time your refresh the screen. It’s a total scam.

I too fell victim to this scam. Free trial my ass!! As soon as I noticed the unauthorized charge on my card I called the comapny and after wrangling with them and no success I finally called my bank and then I called the BBB. After a while I finally got my $140 refunded however they are not budging on the monthly charge of $49.21. They finally did give in after several calls and cancelled my membership.
