Full Sail University Review
Are you interested in mixing music or editing major films? There are only a handful of universities that teaches this. Full Sail has a beautiful building and campus. The tuition is high. Years ago when they were relatively new, all they offered was an associate’s degree in music engineering. There were no online courses. They now have at least 12 areas of expertise offering a bachelors Degree and two offering a master’s.
They now offer online courses, for at least 13 areas of study for a bachelor’s degree and 6 for a Masters degree.
Is Full Sail University a Scam
Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida is one of these rare universities where a student can receive education out of the normal university curriculum, such as gaming design and business in the entertainment world. Parents may think that this is some sort of a scam because they offer a range of fun and exciting studies, but, a scam it is not.
If you are interested in what Full Sail University has to offer then research and read all you can. Take a tour of the campus and watch the students in action. Wait a few weeks, review and tour everything again.
Years ago the school was open 27/7 and the student hours were grossly irregular. The student had to be very organized with their time with this being their first priority. If they did not do this then they were not going to make it.
Full Sail University Complaints and Full Sail University Tuition
We were informed after two months into the program that our son was not going to be able to continue because he just was not devoting every part of his being to this school. At that time a student had to have 52 clock hours, in order for the school to make the student libel for all tuition costs. Two months into the program did not come anywhere near the 52 clock hours. The school kept him attending classes after they had said he was essentially done. When he reached the 52 clock hours they let him go. Now we were hung for the $17,000 in student loans. Our complaints fell on deaf ears.
Take caution before signing up and review the small print. Research any complaints against the school. Do as much research as you can and talk to others who have attended Full Sail and some that are attending presently. Don’t get blind-sided by the glitz you see.
