Is Infowars.com to blame for economic downturn 2011?
To answer the question ‘Is Infowars.com to blame for economic downturn?’ my answer would be no but… They’re definitely a contributor to the economic downturn. Let’s make one thing clear regarding Infowars.com and Prison planet; they’re an information based organization and their for the people. That being said it’s also important to remember what people they’re looking out for. Infowars.com is looking out for the people who think the way they think. Most people would consider Alex Jones and Prison Planet to be conspiracy theorists, personally I agree with this statement, and that’s why personally I consider Infowars.com a form of entertainment.
Understanding a Conspiracy Theorist
First thing I would like to explain is the definition of a conspiracy theory. According to Wikipedia (found at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conspiracy_theory) as of September 2011 (I say this only because Wikipedia can be edited) ‘A conspiracy theory explains an event as being the result of a plot by a covert group or organization or, more broadly, the idea that important political, social or economic events are the products of secret plots that are largely unknown to the general public.’ This is what some people label Alex Jones as; others regard Alex Jones as somewhat of a hero, then there are people like me that consider Alex and infowars.com an extreme form of entertainment.
Don’t get me wrong here there have been events that Alex Jones has been spot on with, that being said I like to remember what Alex Jones and his followers use as their foundation for information. The information they give to people is typically a reaction to what’s going on in the world. They find the negative in everything politicians and corporations do and release it to their followers, being that the internet is slowly replacing television Alex Jones and Prison planet seemed to have stumbled on gold mine of followers who are taking him and his affiliates advice very seriously.
The Rise of Gold and why Paper money namely the U.S dollar is losing purchasing power
Have you seen the price of Gold lately! As I’m writing this Gold is almost worth the same price as Platinum. From my view that right there is the power of the internet. In a world based on Consumption a hoarded precious metal (gold) is worth almost the same price as its superior (platinum). Why are gold prices rising so rapidly you ask? Because some people are still following the old rules of money and economics; for those that don’t know the reason money is no longer backed by gold is because of inevitable times like the ones we’re experiencing now in 2011.
The government is only printing money because people aren’t spending money and the rich businesses have all moved their manufacturing overseas which leaves Americans with no jobs. If you read about the great depression you’d learn that the great depression was caused because all the money dried up. The better question to ask is why the money dried up. The reason was because the rich had of most of it and refused to spend/invest it, on top of this at that time almost all the worlds reserve currencies we’re backed gold. In lamens terms this meant that the governments all across the world were at the mercy of those that had all the gold which back then was money.
President Nixon and helicopter Ben Bernanke
In 1971 President Nixon severed the ties between gold and money you can watch that speech below; however the better question to ask is did Nixon do this to help the rich and powerful? My answer of-course not they did this to save America and to save capitalism.
[youtube id=”iRzr1QU6K1o” w=”600″ h=”500″]
In 1971 Just like today there are people who intentionally or unintentionally try to destroy the United States and Capitalism, this is why I analyze the information I hear from all sources; in my personal opinion helicopter Ben Bernanke has one of the easiest high profile jobs in the world. It’s important to note that a lot of people don’t like Ben Bernanke aka Helicopter Ben because of a speech he made titled ‘Deflation: Making Sure “It” Doesn’t Happen Here” It can be viewed by going to: http://www.federalreserve.gov/boarddocs/speeches/2002/20021121/default.htm. In this speech Ben makes reference to how he would prevent Deflation by printing money. Depending on the type of person you are and what rules of money you follow you can both agree with Ben and prepare yourself for the results of his actions or you can disagree with Ben and go on the defensive.
What many have chosen to do is go on the defensive and base their reasons for doing this on the old economics of money. If you’re smart and understand the new rules of money you would just wait for the money to get printed. There are two factors to understand with fiat money that go over international speculators heads when it comes to the United States and the United States dollar
1 the United States is the most powerful country on the planet and 2 as it stands today America can print as much money as it wants. When you’re talking about money in this age you’re talking about trust. My question to you is; on planet earth right now what country does the world trust most to lead? When you talk about military power what country do you think is the most powerful? When I heard that the republicans we’re stopping Obama from raising the debt ceiling I honestly could not believe what I was hearing.
Alex Jones has a frequent guest on his show named Gerald Celente in the above video you’ll notice Nixon used the words “International money speculators” Gerald Celente in my opinion although a United States citizen qualifies as one of those. Frequent references to investing in Gold as well as Senator Ron Paul making the same or similar statements helps destroy a monetary system that we the United States created. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again in my opinion speaking out against investing in the United States dollar or the United States is border line terrorism.
REMEMBER AMERICAN PEOPLE WE’RE The ONES LIVING HERE!
Change the laws governing Businesses and we’re back on top
Solving America’s economic woes is not that difficult especially now that we have so many entrepreneurs. The main problem America is encountering are the laws governing businesses, like us or not business minded people create jobs which in turn creates more wealth for everyone.
As Americans we currently have an unlimited supply of wealth as long as we can keep creating new and innovative technologies. The problems we’re facing now are the laws governing businesses. Major corporations have too much influence over the laws that are created; this is a very serious issue that needs to be tackled immediately.
Don’t let anyone detour you from correcting this issue, Booms and busts will happen but we as American’s must be able to compete on a global scale, we’re at a major disadvantage now because most of the entrepreneurs can’t compete here at home. The reason we can’t compete is because there are too many laws preventing us from staying competitive. California and Detroit are bankrupt for reason and that reason is because they TAX businesses to death if you get a chance type “amazon shuts down california” in Google and read about what Amazon did to a growing online job market. The thing to remember is that Amazon is almost making as much money as Wal Mart and California’s greed for taxing businesses to death just cost them and their citizens thousands of jobs that could have helped stimulate their economy.
I say this all the time the problem is not money the current problems are from the LAWS governing money. You can’t punish those who produce jobs in a global market because they’ll relocate, I mean wouldn’t you? Why take abuse when you don’t have too. That’s what the American government has been doing and that’s the reason we’re in this financial mess. Honestly people that’s all it is. If you have any common sense it would tell you that the Rich and powerful need the government because when times get tough Rich people get KIDNAPPED which ultimately costs Rich people more in the long run because they’ll need to protect themselves from people with nothing to lose.
Final thoughts on Infowars.com
Personally I don’t hold Infowars.com responsible for the economic downturn but I do consider them to be a negative voice for the economic downturn. Anyone attacking my way of life I consider a threat if you have food and shelter things really aren’t that bad, sure they could be better but be thankful. What we need to do is work to find solutions to the problems we’re facing as a country now, personally I think the root cause of the problems we’re facing are the laws governing business, and I think we could fix these problems if we make that the main topic in the upcoming elections.
If you have solutions to problems we’re facing in this country make your voices known and stop feeding into what I consider to be the negative media machine Infowars.com.
