Now to start off I am not defending any company and also I am not saying this is what they’re all doing but I’ve heard and read many stories about Mate1.com and how they get people to sign up. As an online small business owner I know how tough it can be to get people join or to be interested in your business; now I am not saying that this is right but this is what it is.
As I am sure you know online dating is a very competitive industry because of this fact some dating sites have chosen to take on desperate measures now I’ve personally never signed up with Mate1.com so I don’t know if this is what they are doing but I’ve heard stories from reliable sources that say mate1.com will use bots or even hire people to pretend to like you or who will send messages to your profile to get a free member to upgrade his or her membership. Once this member upgrades the person who sent the solicitation quickly disappears or that person cannot be reached. Now being that I’ve never actually joined Mate1.com I can’t actually say this is what’s going on but like I’ve said I have some reliable sources as well I was very active in dating forums when I was doing the whole online dating thing.

I came face to face with a truth recently that I probably should have known right off the bat. That truth is to sign up with dating websites that have the most members. Trust me when I say I’ve tried them all, my best results we’re with plenty of Fish and Adult Friend Finder. Now personally I think Plenty of Fish is better than many of the paid dating sites out there, but a huge problem you run into with POF is people aren’t serious that’s the main problem with things that are free is quality tends to be low. Because anyone from anywhere can sign up not to mention some people will sign up as guys and pretend to be girls or girls pretending to be guys.
This is what led me to try Adult Friend Finder, you have to be over 18 and people there are ready to hook up. You have to pay to enjoy the services and it’s generally a better experience. Now a topic people rarely discuss when talking about dating websites is location, location, location.
If you live in a small town chances are you might have to expand your search I used to live in Upstate New York and then I moved to Toronto Canada for school I noticed a HUGE difference in response. Also now that I am on the topic of responses; and this goes for both guys and girls make sure you put a picture of you out and about with friends. If you’re a guy and you have an outgoing picture it doesn’t make you look so creepy to women and if you’re a woman post an outgoing picture because it will repel most of the creepy guys because they’ll see you have friends and see you as more of challenge, creepy guys tend to not like challenges.
Mate1 Dating Service Reviewed Is it a Scam?
I wouldn’t call Mate1 a scam but if you’re going to join, sign up with caution. Only join because you want to try it and not because you got a message. I know that’s a tough concept to grasp but that’s where most of the complaints for mate1 come from. On another note Adult friend finder is one of the largest dating sites only it looks a little raunchy but’s it’s been around the longest and considering its size it has the fewest complaints. I’ve had success using it and I’m sure if you’ve tried other dating sites and try this one you will notice a huge difference. Nothing is guaranteed but I wish you all the best!
