McDonald’s foreign workers working in CANADA call it ‘slavery’
Personally I don’t eat at McDonalds it’s what I like to call the fast food stop of last resort. I honestly didn’t think that McDonald’s was doing this, to be honest the thought never even crossed my mind. When I hear that foreign workers are working for one of the biggest fast food chains in Canada the first thing that comes to my mind is that Canadians have been sold out by their government.
Prices for fast food all across the board have raised and you mean to tell me that on top of this McDonald’s is bringing in foreign workers because they refuse to pay their current employees more than a minimum wage. Now there are jobs that most Canadians aren’t willing to do like picking fruit for example however working for McDonald’s is not one of these jobs. The reason why Canadians don’t want to work for Mcdonalds is because of their LOW pay.
McDonald’s refuses to budge from their minimum wage pay scale
McDonald’s is a publically traded corporation and in order for an old publically traded corporation to keep new investment coming in. It must show it’s ability keep expenses and liabilities LOW! McDonald’s up to this point has quite possibly put together the best fast food BUSINESS system in the world. However with the creation of the internet that business system is being put into question. Why? Because the McDonald demons are starting to come out of the closet. They’re being exposed more and more every single month. Their business practices and in some instances lack of humanity are starting to come into question and in my opinion I see their stock coming down in the near future.
McDonald’s has a few good things going on for it like it’s real estate holdings and business systems however our current flawed corporate run society in my opinion is about to end. I’m not calling for an end to the public or private corporate model but I’m saying is the EDUCATION and the financial education of people is starting to rise which I think will loosen the noose that Corporations have put around the necks of global citizens.

My advice to anyone reading this is SPEAK OUT! you don’t even have to do it publically actually word of mouth is the best form of VIRAL MARKETING We the people need to bring these corporations to their knees and it won’t happen if we allow the media who are sponsored by these corporations to do it for us.
These major corporations haven’t brought we the people higher paying jobs they’ve actually done the opposite once profits go down for these corporations even for a quarter of their accounting year they layoff people. When I look at colleges now they’re training students to work for corporations. “Accounting” for example has been replaced by “Financial accounting” I use this to illustrate that small business which is the key to vibrant economy is being sold out for Corporate interests.
I will often speak about the housing bubble in Canada which is not only making living for homeowners expensive but it’s also making living in an apartment more expensive also. All of this is fueled by corporations and banks that have basically taken over the Canadian government. Canada is in a great position right now and it’s being squandered by our government who is selling Canada out to this big corporations who plead their cases from a position of pleasing their lenders and stockholders.
I am for better financial education of Canadian citizens that is the only way we will solve this mess. Canada is not in as lucky of a position as the United States. Canadians DO NOT have the one of the world’s reserve currencies, Canada does not have a “FORT KNOX” and our politicians are frequently sending our jobs overseas to currency manipulators like China and South Korea. On another topic Canada approves free trade deal with South Korea!
By the way Canada is not exactly known as a manufacturing country as we’ve sold most of those jobs to China. The only thing Canada is currently known for is it’s natural resources and our banking system.
Oh by the way Canadian government debt totals around $4.1 trillion. So you can better understand what I’m talking about here the United States population has over 317,million people and Canada has 35 Million. The U.S national debt as of April 2014 is 17 Trillion Canada’s national debt is $4.1 trillion. Based on those numbers the United States per citizen is in a much better financial position than Canadians are.
I also want to add that more MILLIONAIRES live in the United States than they do in Canada, and again America is a military giant with one of the worlds reserved currencies. Canada holds neither title!
Financial literacy better make it’s way into the Canadian school system soon because if there really is a housing bubble Canada is in some serious problems! Being Canada’s position in the world it will very hard for Canada to use money printing as a way to clean up this mess.
