Mogo Money Review

Mogo Money Review

When you are low on money and pay day is just too far away to cover your expenses, Mogo Money (Mogomoney.com) is the perfect alternative. This company, similar to a payday loan company, is not a scam; it is a great financial decision to make when you need money now. They have plenty of options to choose from for some of the lowest rates around. The application is quick and easy, you are approved instantly, and there is absolutely no credit check if you go into their store location. If you have bad credit or no credit at all, that is fine. In fact, 9 out of every 10 people get approved, which is higher than many of their competitors.

If you need money right now, you can choose an option to have the money deposited into your bank account within one hour. That is incredibly fast, especially compared to the payday loan companies that take 24 hours to a few days to give you the money. This allows you to use the money the same day you apply! It costs a small fee, but if you really need it that day, then it is worth it. If you don’t want to pay a fee, the money will be in your bank account the next business day.

Mogo Money Locations across Canada

Mogo Money has an online location and 11 different store locations in Canada. These locations are specifically in BC, Alberta, and Ontario, which are three major cities in Canada. The store locations are great because you can talk to an actual person, ask questions about your concerns, and feel a little bit more comfortable about borrowing money from them.

Mogo Money Reloan Option

They also have a wonderful reloan option. If you have used this company before, they make everything really easy for you. All you have to do is send them a copy of your last bank statement and everything is all set! You don’t have to reapply or fill out any forms. If you want to borrow the same amount as you did before and receive it the same way, then you do not need to take any further action. You can receive your money in just thirty minutes! If you want to receive a different amount for your reloan or receive it a different way, all you have to do is send them a quick e-mail and let them know!

Mogo Money is a company you can trust and use as many times as you want. They do not scam you into anything and will answer any questions you have before you sign your loan agreement. You will know all about your fees and repayment agreement before you accept anything.

CodeFast The Work From Home BUSINESS vs. Being a digital slave

The rise of ChatGPT and advanced AI tools has permanently transformed the online world. In my view, if you’re looking for a smarter, faster path forward, to arning an sustainable income online I highly recommend exploring the CodeFast program. Why? Because AI has empowered everyday people to become creators—to code, build, and launch their own consulting businesses without depending on expensive middlemen.

Most coding bootcamps and training programs are built to turn you into an employee. But the future isn’t about working for someone else—it’s about private contracting, high-ticket consulting, and digital independence.

The so-called “guru era” isn’t quite over, but it’s evolving. People are no longer buying into vague secrets and hyped-up stories. They want structure, clarity, and results—without the fluff. That’s exactly what CodeFast delivers: a streamlined way to gain real-world skills and take control of your own income.

If you’re not already profitable or don’t have at least a basic grasp of tech or automation, you risk becoming overly dependent on a single agency for ongoing success. In today’s AI-powered world, that’s a dangerous position to be in.

Do not believe the “simplicity” and happy warm fuzzy feeling that MogoMoney wants you to believe. This company is essentially a legal loan shark, and Heaven help you if you have any trouble paying off their loan. One of the problems with Mogo is that if you get approved, you aren’t able to choose the amount you are approved for. Therefore, if you re-loan, you are stuck with the same amount you had before. If you only needed an extra $300, you will still be saddled with $500 and need to pay that back. Their account managers apparently have never actually read the service terms & conditions of the loan – I was advised that Mogo will not accept cheques for partial re-payment, and lo and behold the same day they cashed a cheque that I had specifically stated was for a PARTIAL loan payment!! Imagine my surprise…aside from that, if you do happen to default, it doesn`t matter how many times you try to contact them for payment arrangements – the company simply refuses to negotiate any sort of payment. They want their pound of flesh and they have absolutely no qualms about leaving their clients with nothing. This company has cost me over 100$ in NSF charges for simply refusing to acknowledge my attempts to pay them back, they cashed at least one cheque after advising me it wasn`t acceptable, they have contacted my employer with an intent to bully me into submission and I have been left with absolutely no recourse or payment options by their erstwhile account manager (Darcy Campbell). This account manager refuses to communicate via email, even though the terms of their contract clearly state that email is an acceptable form of communication. In short – stay away from MogoFinancial. If you need a payday loan, go to MoneyMart. They are far easier to deal with, lower interest rates and all around better customer service.

you can challenge them on the NSF fees. By law, you must sign off each and every time they try and take money from your account – they don’t have free reign and can’t go in whenever they wish.
I have dealt with them and insisted on e-mail communication to get stuff on record – it was either that or no communication at all. Twice they created NSF fees for me and i took that off the final settlement. They are bullies and YOU MUST PUSHBACK.

Mogo money is a fabulous idea. Their rates are a great alternative to the conventional alternatives, however, if they could only be competent and professional I would do business with them again. Spent three days trying to pay them back after they screwed up my account details then they threatened to garnish the money along with the full year’s interest while I had elected to pay the full balance less than two weeks after the loan. The chat session I had with a rep online was horrendous. What kind of a company has reps reply with “yup” anyway?

I WAS a big fan of mogo till recently. Ive never missed a payment with them and have been very faithful. We recently changed bank accounts and faxed in our new bank accounts with them. When they inputed my new banking info into their system they entered it wrong and they couldnt take the payment out. They ended up fixing it and taking the payment out a week later. Which is fine because the money was in my account waiting to be taken out. During that week I was getting “collection” calls and emails. I discussed with them that Im upset that I”m getting these calls and being treated like this is my fault. Ive gotten no applogy and no one in customer service will deal with me… “its only the Collections”. I have no money owing and they did take the money out. But because they screwed up on their end and it was a week late they are treating me like its my fault. I will not be going back. I found them to be great until this incident. They are not dealing with things professionally and I”m quite disapointed. Even just an appology saying they screwed up is fine. But instead they want to talk to me like its my fault. I just dont get it. Ive got other things to worry about then some un proffessional loan company.

If I knew Mogo was going to be hell, I never would have applied for a loan. I was in a pickle, my mother got sick and couldn’t work anymore, so I had to apply for the loan. They are tricksters, and theives.

I got the Zip Loan as well as the Mini Loan, so a total of $700.00 is what I borrowd from them. Their information is hard to understand, but I thought I understood it before I accepted. Anyhow, a month later, I get an email saying, “Your Mini Loan Payment Is Due!” Mini Loan? Okay, cool. $200. I can do that, no problem.
NOPE. They tried to take out $600, and when I contacted them and told them I thought it was going to be the MINI LOAN that was withdrawn from my account and not the $600, suddenly I had to deal with Darcy Campbell (WHO IS AN UTTER IDIOT. “Notated”? Are you serious?) I dealt with him by phone and email. I have a serious anxiety disorder, and the phone makes me nervous. I had two weeks to send the money by WESTERN UNION, because for some reason they couldn’t just withdraw the money from my account, which cost me more money in the end.

So okay. I dealt with that, whatever. They were taking out payments for the Mini Loan every two weeks, which was fine. I am currently on layoff from work, so the small amount ($8.66) was fine, no big deal. I let this got for FOUR months. Count them: 4. I got a reminder that the money was due, so out of curiosity I asked them how much I still owed (by email), and you know what they told me? $208.66 I feel sick when I think about it, but for the past 4 months, they’ve been making money off of me. Literally. They’ve made close to an extra $150, and it’s disgusting. I haven’t had a proper meal in months, and here they are taking money away from me?? Those payments were supposed to pay off the loan!

Naturally, I sent a WTF email, told them they’ve screwed me and scamed me for the last time, and that they are going to take out $108.66 on this certain day, and the remaining amount on this other day. You know what they told me?

->Sorry but we can only modify your upcoming payment.

I did try to contact you by calling but you will need to call me back as there are several aspects of this loan I would like to clarify for you.

Please also be advised that no information will be updated until you contact us.

Thank you,In that case I advise you that we are not updating that information.

It is your responsibility to manage and understand your payment for the loan product you’ve signed for and if you decline further clarification by phone there is unfortunately nothing I can do for you in that regard.

Please provide an EI payment schedule and we will update your pay frequency so you are being debited on the correct dates.

Also, you will need to advise us of one date on which you would like to pay in full, as we cannot split that payment

I will await your response, <-

Cannot split the payment? Bunch of pansies. You can and you will, or I won't be paying you anymore. How's that?

Bottom line is, I hate Mogo, I don't trust Mogo, and if you're reading this trying to decide to go with them? Don't. Someone suggested Money Mart before, I suggest them as well. Mogo is basically a scam artist, and a legal one. If you're going through all this, don't be intimidated by them. You have the right to speak to them by email, and to keep a record of the conversation. Also remember: it'll cost them more money in the end to take you to court, so don't let their threats get to you. If you start court proceedings, they can have it so that you pay for it, not them. This is your money, and as long as you're working with them to pay the money you borrowed back, there's nothing they can do to you. You tell them what's what, and be reasonable on your end as well.

Also, again, I'd like to say: Darcy Campbell can NOTATE this all he wants. Also, just because that idiot pissed me off so much:

    no·tate
      [noh-teyt]

verb (used with object), no·tat·ed, no·tat·ing.
to note, mark, or set down in a system of notation: The book describes how to notate music for instruments and voice.

    World English Dictionary

    notate (nəʊˈteɪt)

to write (esp music) in notation

    Where'd you learn English?

Mogo is a dreadful company, I will never, ever loan from them again, nor will I EVER allow anyone I know to loan from them. I missed TWO!! OUTRAGEOUS interest payments, after missing the first one I was told I would have to pay it in full along with a bunch of extra charges on my next payment along with the other interest charge that would be coming out, which would add up to about 400 dollars. and just as everyone else was saying, they are completely unwilling to work with their clients and its their god damn way or the high way. So, because I had to pay them back in full plus fees, that left me short on my next interest payment. I was then told that I had to pay my ENTIRE LOAN IN FULL on my next pay cheque!!!!! Oh and by the way, of course I was dealing with Darcy Campbell, the man with no soul, I don’t know how that man sleeps at night with the way he talks to people. and now I am getting threatened to have my wages garnishned.

I’ve been dealing with Mogo for some time and spoken to several different reps. And through out I’ve come to understand that they are in general very unprofessional, but polite through out. My good feelings for them lasted until just recently. The collection rep I spoke to was not unly unprofessional but also completely rude. Claiming that she made attempts to contact me on several occassions, which I believe is an utter lie as I have no missed calls I have not returned with in the same day. She also stated that I will not get any sympathies from their end. Which I did not ask for, I told her I will have the funds available and asked her what the total amount they will be debitting will be. She goes on to say they will be contacting my employer for the $100. She also tells that it is this way because it has come to collections. Well, as an ex collector myself, I’m aware of how collections work, especially in-house collections. Her method and understanding of what collections is not only disreputable but also boarders unlawful. Mogo needs to better train their representatives. That or find educated people to be the front lines of their business. (Are these “collectors” even licensed?)

I have just had a lovely conversation with Darcy Campbell myself! He threatened to go to my HR department at work and threatened to garnish my wages if I do not pay him back 1500 dollars on a 200 and 800 dollar loan. He was rude, non empathetic and completely unprofessional. I will research this farther as I offered to pay 125 dollars a month to pay this off, he refused that and said ” do you think I am honestly going to wait for you to pay this off” he told that he sending papers to my place of employment next week. GO FOR IT! I offered you money and you refused it.

    Thanks.

It’s pretty obvious everyone complaining doesn’t understand how the loans work. It’s not at your own convenience that you get to pay these back. You don’t get to compromise and postpone paying. What’s so hard about it? You read the terms and understand what you’re getting yourself into. It’s not that difficult. All the complainers on here obviously can’t read or understand English as Mogo is VERY clear and what they state will happen should payments not be received.

I just don’t understand you idiots.

Well, you are all right about mogo going to CTV new with this issue. Darcy campbell & Chery are idots. They don’t even let you talk instead give you threats. So i hope someone incharge of them is reading this. You are a customer service agency. May be listen before you say something & hang up. Another class action law suite is in process. Personally to Darcy Campbell & Cheryl. Who the hell hired them~!!!

If I had know that MOGO Financial was such a bad company i would have never taken the loan from them. I have recently had some financial set backs and missed 2 payments instead of asking why the payments were missed I had the pleasure of speaking with Cheryl Smith she is rude and talk to you like you dont understand. She does not know what customer service is – I do understand she is in collections but it is her job to explain what is happening she yells and starts to raise her voice and when i have asked her not to contact me she does not listen she continues to leave msg and send harassing email demanding payment. I also had the pleasure of speaking with Darcy Campbell who claims he is her Manager that too is a lie – I know the phone calls are recorded and when I asked for the calls to be reviewed he told me he would not address that issue his exact words to me were “this is not customer service this is the collections dept. what do to expect you missed your payment”. Each time I have had to hang up the phone on them due to there manner on the phone.
Word of advice DO NOT GET A LOAN FROM MOGO ….. AND NO WAY TO GO MOGO

It sounds like everyone on “bitching and moaning” all have something in common… YOU BORROWED MONEY AND COULDN’T PAY IT BACK!!! Now your taking it out on a company who simply wants you to for fill your end of the deal. If any actually paid your loans back when you said you would, would you still be hating on them??

Did any of you contact Mogo to let them know you were going to default and try to make an alternate arrangement, or did you wait for it to bounce and then they called you? I’ve been using them for a little while and the one complaint I had I sent to them and they fixed it.

so about 3 weeks ago i needed to borrow 1000$ so i could buy a 51 inch HD 3D TV that was on sale…. the sale ended before my payday so I got in touch with MOGO and arranged a 1000$ loan on a sunday… An hour or so later it was in my account and I bought the TV….. That was a sunday…. the following friday i paid back the 1000$ …no fuss no muss easy as 123……. Great Service… In fact I now have a MOGO prepaid Visa card…. The people that fell like they got a raw deal are the people who dont understand what this service is….you borrow money,,,you agree to pay it back in 2 weeks,,,you pay it back in 2 weeks,,,end of story,,,,if you didn’t do it the way its is intended then its your own fault… dont trash the loaner,,,look in the mirror and tale responsibility for your own actions!!!!!

Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Loaned with them less than five months ago. Had a year to pay off the loan. I have never missed a payment or been late with a payment, and I paid the entire loan off in full on Thursday. Nothing in my work or financial record has changed since initially borrowing with them.I spoke to a Mogo rep before doing so, because I wanted to pay the loan off to try to create a good financial record with Mogo. I was told by the rep to go ahead and pay it off as the re-loaning process was quick and easy. I did that. During what was supposed to be a same day re-loan, my cat became very ill. Mogo gave me the run around for three days. No communication what so ever on their end. They even had a rep call me and do a second application for the wrong loan. When I told her I had already done the application and filled out my loan agreements, she was bewildered and put me on hold. She came back about five minutes later and told me she made a mistake and my previous loan was being funded. The following day( now three days later) no loan, no communication. I phoned Mogo back and was told they need my licence and to verify my banking. I complied, my banking was verified. Again I was told my loan was being funded in 24hrs. Next day, no loan, no communication and a sick baby girl(my cat). For the fourth time I called back, spoke to Norman the supervisor, now he tells me, even though I’ve never missed a payment, never paid one late and my loan is paid in full just five months after taking it; my financial and job info is exactly the same; now I no longer qualify and have been denied my loan! How the hell is that possible you ask? I’ll let you know never cause I can’t get a straight answer from this atrocious company! Here’s the beautiful animal you wouldn’t help save Mogo! For no good reason I might add! You should feel really good about yourselves!!!
