OceanaFinance.com Review – Is it a scam?
OceanaFinance.com is an online investment and trading company claiming to be one of the world’s leader in financial investment in hedge funds which pledges up to 3% of money growth daily and up to 5% of affiliate commission for a referral. The website also assures investors of having a team of experienced and skilled professional experts who help in making profit or gains for everyone.
What are Hedge Funds?
It is a collection of investments from several members or investors whereby everyone’s money placed helps in offsetting or reducing potential losses while also helping increase potential gains due to pooling.
Personal thoughts regarding OceanaFinance.com
If the company is indeed one of the world leaders in online investment and trading, then the company is expected to be found in the list of Fortune 500 or 1000 for having this type of business, but they’re not, and so on that point this would make OceanaFinance.com a suspect of being a fraud.
Judging by their website structure or design, again, if they are a world leader, then they can hire top-notch web designer to help create a state of the art website to lure potential investors, but the website has just an okay feel and uses some crappy fonts.
Potential investors registration ask for credit card information right away which must rattle or at least warn people to make some extensive research and must ask for further questions through the company’s office via chat or landline or even customer support call center. The website doesn’t offer such contact details and that would be strike 2 for a potential swindling site.
The website is shown to be located in Chicago, Illinois, in the United States but upon checking in on several scam checker websites, OceanaFinance.com also appears to be in an island country of Seychelles in the Indian Ocean and the address on the website is indeed in the said country, Seychelles.
Extending some research, I have found a website called http://www.virtualseychelles.com and the website has a special warning against fraudulent scams using online investment as a means and that is a definite strike 3.
Final thoughts regarding OceanaFinance.com
Three strikes is dangerous and could leave your pockets empty if not vigilant enough to make some research or asks questions first especially in investing.
Don’t trust OceanaFinance.com unless you have personally confirmed of it’s aunthenticity and you can do that by writing and informing or inquiring the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of Seychelles, c/o Central Bank, P.O Box 701, Victoria and provide them with all known details.
