The reason no one from Wall Street went to jail for the financial crisis
Some people are under the impression that everyone from Wall Street should go to jail because of the financial crisis we’re experiencing in 2011 however the truth of the matter is Wall Street didn’t do anything illegal. Yes what many of them did was immoral and evil to a degree but that being said they didn’t anything “illegal”. Laws govern how a country is run that being said it’s important to stay on top of the changes in the laws that are governing your country.
Can’t say we didn’t warn you
At the time I’m writing this post there are people protesting outside of Wall Street hoping that their protest will bring about change in the financial sector. Personally I think these people should be outside the white house protesting their cause because money is governed by laws and not by Wall Street. To a degree Wall Street does have the ability to influence the change in laws but the only reason bad laws are being passed is because majority of the American people are not actively participating in politics.
How would you feel if I was taking money out of your pockets?
People that don’t have money for whatever reason have this concept that the people with the money should give away all of their money. Rich or poor, people are people and if someone or something (such as a government) keeps taking money out of your pockets for no reason you’re going to find a way to fight back. If you haven’t been paying attention for the past several hundred years the government has been doing its best to take money out of the hands of the people that have the most money.
The problem with doing this however is the fact that in order for the government to take money from the rich they also have to create loop holes. You might now be wondering why there is loop holes well there are a variety of reason but the reason I want you to understand is that with every law passed a good business might suffer for something a bad business caused. 1 law might in fact slow down an entire industry which in turn may cause a law to have a clause attached to it, this clause like all clauses can and will be abused by those smart enough to see the opportunity this clause brings.
Do you understand Occupy Wall Street?
Occupy Wall street in my opinion is a call for communism whether the occupiers know it or not. There are so many different ways to deal with loop holes especially with the creation of the internet. Personally I don’t even think that our financial crisis here in the United States is that complicated. However I do think it can get complicated if people keep on bad mouthing the United States dollar and keep bashing our credit rating and our financial sector.
Final thoughts
If you want to stop Wall Street get involved in politics personally I think the reason most people don’t get involved in politics is because they’re probably scared to learn how easy it is to become wealthy in the United States. By that I mean if they learned the truth of what’s going on in politics most people would join in on the fun and reject their initial thoughts on the corruption going on worldwide. For every action there’s a reaction nothing is perfect and if you want to change things get involved and learn the truth. Of-course most of you reading this look at getting involved have something that’s too challenging and would rather pitch tents outside wall street and act like victims.
That’s the problem we’re facing in this world is lazy people who want to portray the image of a victim. I’ve worked with Rich people on several occasions and the difference between them and most of the other people I meet is the fact that they have enough “Guts” to challenge every and anything that’s presented in front of them. The average person is not like this instead they’ll find an excuse or a reason not to take action. If you want the “crooks” in Wall Street to go to jail help change the laws that govern Wall Street it’s really that simple.
