SmokelessCigToday.com Scam
I first want say Be careful if you sign up through any recommendation given from the consumerherald.com. Fake news websites like these are built just to get you to buy something. If look at the top of the consumerharold.com website you will notice it says “advertisement” at the top of the page actually that’s what it says on my website it might say something different for you.
SmokelessCigToday.com Is It a Scam
I never trusted this site to buy anything from them but I will warn you that before you sign up make sure you read the terms and conditions. Personally I recommend not doing any type of business with this company but don’t let me stop you from signing up. Also before you hand over your credit card to them make sure you read there terms I have taken the liberty of posting some of their terms below. Before you sign up you might want to give it a look.

Again I don’t like tell people what to do but from my view this is thing is way to over priced.
Please leave your comments below and tell me what you think. Am i wrong? or do I have a point.
Read the fine print before paying the $4.95. They do not cancel and give your money back. If you send it back they charge a restocking fee. I was getting calls from people saying they were checking if I received the product, when I told them I didn’t and didn’t want anymore charges they said they would take care of it. Then when the charges were on my card I called and was informed that was an outside company, that they had nothing to do with the cigarette. The customer service people are rude! This is just a marketing SCAM!!!
For people not familiar with these products and just testing the waters to see what is available and what may work for them, this is a terribly misleading scam. They are sending out $30 starter kits, and charging $110 for them. They make sure that the trial period is so short by the time the product is received that there is very little time to actually try it and find out how over priced it is before jumping through the hoops to return it for a refund. The 14 days start the day you submit your information on the web page. Then a couple days are used up before someone calls to “verify” your credit card information before they ship the product. Then a couple more days are used up before a third party calls to “verify” your credit card and try to get their hooks into you before the product can be shipped.
Very sleazy operation.
Unfortunately it reflects badly on the products and companies behind the product wether or not they are aware that their products are being marketed in this manner.
Vapor Corp may well have gained a customer had their product been presented to me in a professional manner. But I will not buy their product after the sleazy introduction of it by smokelesscigtoday.com.
smokelesscigstoday.com…….vaporfume ONE AND THE SAME:
SCAM SCAM SCAM.
vaporfume is the name next to the billing line on my charge account.
smokelesscigstoday.com is the website that i was given when i called about the unrequested charge on my account to the tune of $179.29. they said i should have called within 14 days to cancel…but didn’t say delivery time was part of the 14 days.
was told that i should have read the fine print on my initial order; on the website, the fine print is at the bottom of their page in a hazy black background with the tiniest print which barely readable. i now have a dispute case pending between my credit card company and this (what i consider to be) fraudulent, SCAM company…PLEASE DON’T EVEN CONSIDER ORDERING ANYTHING AT ALL FROM THEM. JUST GO TO SMOKELESSCIGSTODAY.COM AND TAKE NOT OF THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THE LOCATION OF THESE TERMS ON THE WEB SITE.
I guess I’m one of their latest victima. Just opened my bank statement and saw a $109.67 charge. Called them and all I got from the customer rep was “did you read the terms and conditions?”. Like the guy above says it’s buried so far back up in there 99% of the people would not read that much of it, even if it were easier to find. They did cancel my account with them, or at least said they did, and as their “way of saying thank you” for trying their product, said they were sending me a $100 gift certificate to some online shopping place (no doubt a subsidiary company of Smokelesscigtoday.com). Now, I have to make a trip to my bank to insure that these SCAMMERS can’t debit my account again. Nothing but a rather large headache and a GIANT SCAM……..
SCAM All complaints are true. Do not get scammed by this “company”
It seems I too am an idiot! Yes, I signed up for the $4.95 trial period. No, I did not know about the 14 day trial period. Yes, I also was charged $110 12 days, yes 12 days afterwards, not only that I was charged an additional $74 20 days after that. Were it not for the Capitol One CC agent getting involved, no telling what would have happened next. Spent over an hour on the phone with Capitol resolving the issue. The C.O. agent was fantastic, she called these scammers, really got into their faces. LOVE HER! The charges have been reversed. BTW, I never even received the ‘starter kit’ so highly touted. Thank the good lord for Capitol One!! Thank the GL for looking after idiots like myself!
This company is the biggest ripoff, sleazy site out there. VERY MISLEADING and for someone in their 70s who trusts at face value; paid less than $5 for a ‘sample’ haha and ends up getting billed over $117 is OUTRAGEOUS. The ecigs had a little liquid ‘thing’ which STUNK and DID NOT WORK. Then for $117 to be deducted from a checking account which had only $75 in it, thus putting customer in the hole, MINUS the $30 they were charged for insufficient funds – this blew them away. So said company acted like they were performing another miracle on the mount by refunding a whopping $40 to the depleated checking account. I SAY SHAME ON THEM AND MAY THEY ROT.
I am unfortunately one of there more recent victims luckily my bank is trying to help me get my money back, I have already shut down the card they charged for the 99.67 and recieved a replacement card so no more charges can be made to my account. I too called them and at the first 3 times they would ask for my zip code as soon as I gave it they hung up on me. So today I finally got in touch with them and they offered me a $90.00 teeth cleaning product instead of my money back I told them I did not want it I wanted my money back of course the answer was “Well it has already been processed that is all you are getting” From all the background sounds this location had to be a call center somewhere over seas I could barely understand her and could hear other people in the background saying the same thing she was saying to me. I should have paid more attention to the terms and conditions but my experience was when I called before the 14 days they hung up on me it wasn’t until the 14 days was up that they actually talked to me.
I wish I had read this blog before I ordered the e-cig. It is a rip off and the charges are outlandish. I cancelled my future orders and blocked my credit card for future charges. This is my fault for not reading the terms of agreement to the end. I accept all responsibility for the charges I have received up until now. You live and learn. Do not order this product, I wonder what health effects this may have on me in the future, since this product is made in China, and we know from the news what kind of controls they have in affect for the products they make. This will never happen again.
