Twitter Administration Scam

Twitter Administration Scam

Did you get a ‘You have 1 messages from Twitter Administration‏’ too? Actually the one that I received had the word ‘Administration’ spelled incorrectly. This scam also exists with Facebook. I actually wrote about a similar Facebook post a few weeks ago. I’m guessing these spammers/scammers are at it again. My advice is the same as it was in the Facebook post I recommend that you do not open the email and if you did open the email I recommend that you do not click on any of the links within the body of that email. Personally I received the ‘Twitter Administration‏’ message in my Hotmail spam email. Because I’m an internet marketer I have to check my spam box in case one of my clients sends me an email, that being said I don’t make it a habit clicking on any of the links I receive.

The Link within the body of the email appears as though it’s coming from twitter?

Even though the link within the body of the fake ‘Twitter Administration’ email appears to come from twitter the truth is that it does not. I highly suggest that you do not click that email because your computer might get attacked. I’m not sure if some of you read about the people who had their online bank accounts attacked? Well its little scams like this that allow spammers to steal your personal information. They make a replica website and then coerce people to give away their personal information. I’m not trying to tell you what to do but be careful very careful personally I wouldn’t click on that link in their email.

Final thoughts on the Twitter Administration Scam

It’s a scam I know most of you got it right away but for those of you curious all I will say is don’t say I didn’t warn you. Trust me when I say these scammers and spammers are very educated the mere fact that people are researching the Twitter Administration Scam shows you that these spammers know how to grab people’s attention and even in some instances make people do things or have feelings that they wouldn’t normally have. Again stay away and if you’re interested you can also read the post about the Facebook Administration scam by clicking the link below.

Thanks for reading and please leave your comments or your input about the Twitter Administration Scam emails because they really do help others. I’ve received a lot of emails from older individuals that fall into these traps so if you can spread the word as funny as it may sound to some of you its really not funny at all by not doing anything we allow these scams and these spammers to spread which creates new problems so if you can please a comments for others. Other twitter scam messages include

‘Twitter has sent you a notification’
‘Twitter has sent you a personal message’
