What does 182 Mean in chat?

This is obviously not one of the more favorable posts to write but in case you were wondering 182 means I hate you in a text chat conversation. If someone said that to you well the good news is at least now you know how they feel about and your personality. As of March 2013 this is not a commonly used text word.

What is the meaning of 182 in chat?

In a chat a person might say You piece of sh*t 182 don’t ever call me again. However if someone wrote that to me I might laugh and say to myself “who says that?”

182 = “I hate you”

Again this is not a commonly used term and anyone using it might be considered odd to general “texting” public! If you’re thinking of using it on a regular basis I would reconsider that thought!
