Almost 50% of Households Pay ZERO Federal Income Tax!, Oh SNAP More U.S citizens on Food Stamps than Canada Has People – October 29, 2019,
In the U.S Constitution, the word democracy isn’t mentioned once, one of the reasons Mob rule otherwise known as the Democracy wasn’t included in the constitution was to avoid the mob from voting in slavery. Sure America had slavery, but if Democracy was in the Constitution, the mob could have simply voted for slavery after the civil war to end slavery was over. The Republic, the law, has to go through different branches in order to enact certain laws and of course when these laws misinterpret the Consitution, it’s important that writers frame these laws to make them appear that they’re in some way benefiting I assume a minority group who in some way is being disenfranchised enough that they’re not required to pay any income taxes.
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly and commonly known as the Food Stamp Program | wikipedia.org
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly and commonly known as the Food Stamp Program, provides food-purchasing assistance for low- and no-income people living in the United States.
SNAP provides free food to some 40 million Americans or about 12% of the total U.S. population.
Canada currently has about 38 million people total, so America has over 40 million who don’t pay federal income taxes and who actually benefit from the existence of a very large U.S Federal Government. Oh and by the way, these people are also legally allowed to vote. Although voting for a person who is going to create jobs would be the smarter choice, the truth of the matter is most of the people who don’t pay Federal income taxes, do so by choice.
Now, personally I don’t blame these people, because morality is subjective and if they’re simply exposing a loophole in the system, why shouldn’t they not only not pay Federal Income taxes but also vote for the political party they believe will allow them to avoid ever finding a job that pays them enough to sustain themselves.
Now, it should be noted, that the Federal Government does operate inefficiently and the reality is that the cost of living is artificially high primarily because of the government. People forget that technology actually made people’s lives a lot cheaper, and the truth of the matter is we’re actually living in the age in which people could literally be working 8 months out of the year and using the rest to take a vacation, now, of course, this wouldn’t be the life of a Government worker or a public sector employee who is overly regulated, but people forget that th cost of living is expensive because people voted to make the government more expensive to run.
People forget why Barack Obama bailed out the banks, he bailed them out because that’s where all the pensions are, if the stock market crashes all those 401Ks deflate, which wouldn’t be a problem in a free market, but it’s a huge problem with a big expensive government.
What most people have a hard time understanding about Minimum wages and Rent Controls
If you can’t lower the price of something, you can’t lower the price of anything. That’s the problem with wage and price controls, the reason the stock market can’t crash is that if stock market dependent pensions were to deflate, they wouldn’t be enough to keep up with the cost of living and if they can’t keep up with the cost of living, then those people can’t retire. It’s important to remember that Capitalism from a financial perspective is a zero-sum game. Prices come, price go down, wages go up, wages come down, rental prices go up, rental prices come down, food prices go up, food prices come down.
In capitalism everybody is fighting for your business, under capitalism, the customer is always right and in a free market system, consumers can punish perceived evil by supporting evils competitors. This consumer option disappears when the government steps in and either raises the barrier to entry or bans entities it deems unworthy from competing, this, of course, leads to higher prices, because if only the government or if only a friend of the government can open and maintain a taxpayer-funded Post office, well consumers lose because even though technology exist, it’s illegal for that technology to threaten what’s already been established and it’s only natural that the people in positions of power flex their public sector, political muscles when they deem it necessary.
Now, of course, these establishments and the beneficiaries of these big-government policies under a mob rule/democratic rule can claim victimhood, but the reality is they’re on the government dole. You scratch my public sector back, and I’ll give you SNAP and a bunch of other Government created crap, that in time you’ll issue wouldn’t exist without my the Federal government’s existence.
Now, Federal Income Taxes are paid by about 52% of the U.S population, yet you’ll often hear that the rich should pay more? The rich are actually responsible for Income taxes in general, a quick question if a private-sector, when a private employer closes his/her doors and terminates employment, can their now unemployed workforce pay income taxes? When you learn the answer to that question, you’ll quickly be able to comprehend that it’s actually the non-working people who are the tax cheats. If you’re able-bodied unemployed and turn down jobs because you think those jobs are beneath you, you’re a tax cheat.
The cost of living for the WORKING poor is actually high because of the people who do not work. If you can work but you don’t you’re a tax cheat. More than 50% of U.S households pay zero income tax, sales and other regressive taxes aren’t income taxes, by the way, the only tax worth anything is a labor tax, because workplace labour is a signal something is being produced, a sales tax might be the result of an import from China or some other foreign country and this tax makes the cost of living more expensive and could also threaten local job markets. America has enough people on food stamps to be its own country, north of the border.
Interesting times ahead
