One month subscription to its premium membership costs $19.95, $39.95 for 3 months, $69.95 for 6 months, and $119.95 for 12 months. Featuring a hybridized approach, Mega Friends have the features that combined to that of a social networking and online dating site.

Members of Mega Friends can create a profile, post unlimited photos, search other members within their locale, browse other members’ profiles and photos, show interest to other members by sending “winks”, email members using the site’s internal email system, participate in forums, create a hotlist and blocklist of members, have private phone calls, join public and private chat rooms, send  and receive virtual gifts, and avail of the site’s matchmaking services.

Is it worth it?

MegaFriends.com’s approach to dating is no longer new as there are already hundreds of other online dating sites that combine the features of traditional dating and social networking sites. In fact, many of those sites can surpass the services being offered by Mega Friends. Another thing to note is that the site has a low percentage of active members, one of the main reasons why this site could not be considered as a recommendable dating site.

My personal favorite dating site is Match.com because they’re so mainstream. You’ll find a lot more people joining them daily which will drastically increase your chances of finding that special someone.
