Federal government spending $4.5B to buy Trans Mountain pipeline, B.C. terminal

I find it very interesting that Albertans have been silent regarding the Nationalisation of Trans Mountain Pipeline. Even right-leaning media personalities seem to be pro this move from the Federal Government. My personal opinion is this should be left to the provinces, in my view, this is how entrepreneurs are made. This is where creativity comes into play, but Canadians see more concerned about the taking the bland approach to getting things done. The federal government will buy the Pipeline and then sell it when they think the time is right.

In Ontario Canada, we currently have elections coming up where Ontarians appear to be leaning more in the direction of the NDP party. The NDP platform has plans to grow the government, limit freedom of speech and raise the minimum wage $1 to $15 per hour. In reality, what the NDP plans on doing are making life even more expensive for Ontarians and stunting small business growth in the province.

Obviously, this is not how they’re selling themselves to voters but it’s the reality. When you grow the government, government employees have to be paid. We live in a global economy, now more than ever private companies have options and under Liberal leadership, manufacturing jobs have been leaving Canada at a rapid pace. Everywhere the NDP rule the economy is stagnant. Look at Alberta? In life there is no such thing as taking from the wealthy and giving it to the poor, the only thing that exists are tradeoffs, if you have a bigger government you’ll have less private sector jobs, meaning they’ll be less incentive to invest.

The NDP platform revolves around Unions, which in my view is where they’re getting there support from. Unions are the main culprits of the Canadian economy being so stagnant in the first place. The worst part of all this is once laws are enacted you can’t unravel them. They’re permanent until an economic collapse occurs.  I’ve been saying for quite a few months now that an economic collapse is on the horizon and in my view, the writing is on the wall and it’s only a matter of time. It may actually be a blessing in disguise if the NDP win because the last time they won in Ontario a crash happened.

The Fed purchasing the Pipeline is going to end in disaster, in my opinion, Trudeau should leave it to the courts to decide, I doubt Albertans will vote for him anyway. I can help but think that every move the Liberals make is somehow backed by a donor. Morneau already laid out the plan for the Pipeline meaning that investors are guaranteed to make a profit off the buying and the selling. Everything that’s happening in Canada right now is a sign to me that there’s an economic collapse coming.

Interesting times ahead
