Why Canadian milk infuriates Donald Trump – June 9, 2018
In Canada, it’s funny but when some people think of small businesses they think of some scammer charging inflated prices for something they can purchase at a big retailer for a fraction of the cost. Those same individuals will often be the ones complaining at big retailers for selling crap. below is a video you’ll want to watch if you’re wondering why Canadian milk infuriates Donald Trump
People forget that large corporations first mission is to make sure small businesses are not competitive, the reason why big corps attack small businesses first is that it keeps away the unexpected competition. In 1960’s, 70’s, 80’s new businesses were frequently wiping out old businesses, a new gadget would be made every other week and the reason for this back then was simple, costs were lower, there were fewer regulations and because interest rates, for the most part, were above 5% a person could realistically retire earlier without government assistance.
Now, this is not to say that there wasn’t poverty, because there was, but projections at those times were that cars would be able to fly by the year 2000. So, the question then becomes why were so many projections of our future so wrong? Why is it that humans are still experiencing poverty? Well, the number 1 and 2 things that happened were minimum wage laws and unions.
Minimum wage laws push the prices for unskilled labor up, what does this mean? It means if you as a private business owner hires someone who is not producing minimum wages for your business he’s more likely to get fired or you’ll change his hours from full time to part-time. Prior to minimum wage laws, an owner might keep an unproductive worker employed just to keep him/her out of trouble. It’s important to note that even in school some people learn slower than others.
This doesn’t mean that a person who learns slower won’t eventually learn the skill or trade, but it might take them longer. With minimum wage laws and regulations, small businesses can’t afford to keep children out of trouble, they can’t afford to hire unproductive teens or adults. This leads to unemployment and more government intervention as people blame the small businesses.
Then there are the unions who are responsible for most of the regulations we have in business today. It’s a unions job to look out for the people who employ them, so it’s the union’s job to lobby the government for protection. Once the government puts regulations on businesses it slows down innovation. Now I’ll be the first to admit that there are regulations that are sensible for the environment, as an example I don’t want oil tankers spilling oil all over our waters. But then there are regulations that are only enforced to protect Canadian and/or America workers.
The moment these regulations are created limitations are created, which equates to social engineering, people stop asking questions, scientists, engineers, and other professions stop researching things altogether, solutions to problems change entirely as new solutions are derived from the regulations imposed and this repeats itself until either the economy comes to a screeching halt or a Donald Trump figure points it out. Now in years past the information being spewed by Donald Trump would be common knowledge, but you have to understand that how peoples brains are wired is entirely different from free market thinkers.
The mistake I often gather from those of us whose information is derived from the free market is we assume socialist thinkers will understand our point of view. NO! marxist derived thinkers have been getting their way and they’re not going to stop until the western world resembles China. You think it can’t happen, but look how close the EU is to create an internet kill switch, in Canada, they’ve been talking about forcing Netflix to show Canadians content or else. Plus when I read the emotional responses to Trump’s tariffs from people who consider themselves conservatives, it tells me how brainwashed most Canadians are.
To those of you that understand the free market, it’s time for you to make your voices heard. Tell the truth, start speaking up, because if you don’t when the economic collapse happens the people will vote for more socialism!
Interesting times ahead.
