Yelp reviewers give The Teahouse in Vancouver’s Stanley Park 1 Star After their former manager rejected services to a Trump hat wearing customer

Donald Trumps economic IQ is being put to the test in Canada right now, somehow current Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau has been able to garner the support of many Canadian voters while at the same time Polls give Justin Trudeau’s Liberals little to celebrate which should really make you think. I’m an agnostic that believes that universe has its own way of correcting things. Personally, I think Canada is in some serious economic trouble, however, I’ve been around long enough to know that things don’t always turn out how I imagine them too.
If you go to Yelp page of The Teahouse in Stanley Park which can be found by going here:

https://www.yelp.ca/biz/teahouse-vancouver – Teahouse on Yelp

You can see that as of July 1, 2018, they’ve been unfairly targeted for an anti-Trump stance a former manager took on their behalf. It should be noted that the manager who rejected service to the apparent Donald Trump supporter has been fired by The Teahouse in Stanley Park. Yet, the negative comments continue to pour in unfairly. Personally, I lean more to the right politically, but this doesn’t mean that I want people who view the world from the political right stance should behave like bullies.

There’s no reason to attack The Teahouse in Stanley Park unfairly, they fired the person responsible for the incident and it should be noted that small businesses in Vancouver are having a difficult time as it is keeping their doors open because of ludicrous cost of living increases the people in that region of Canada have been experiencing.

For those of you who don’t see the big deal with a Trump supporter being kicked out of a restaurant, well if that can happen why can’t a restaurant owner kick out someone because of their race, their gender etc. their dress code etc. If a restaurant or club, Pub has a policy in place, that policy should be posted for everyone to see. So as an example if the business has a no hat policy well then there would be a reason to defend the manager for kicking the Trump supporter out of the restaurant, but in this instance, no such policy existed which is why the manager was fired.

That aside, although I think Canada should back down from the tariffs and renegotiate NAFTA as Trump has requested, I’m a believer that sometimes things don’t happen the way we’d imagine them too. Even the Conservative party leader Andrew Scheer supports Trudeau’s tariffs that tell me that Politics is dead in Canada. I’ve often argued that Conservatives conserve Liberal political positions which is why I don’t blame Canadians for continually voting Left. The worst part of continually voting Left is the type of education and indoctrination a person will receive.

A large number of us Canadians can no longer engage in political debates. We can’t argue for the Right politically. A lot of Canadians are looking at the political right as a relic of the past, furthermore, a lot of Canadians that vote Conservative, only vote Conservative because they believe there’s something that they’ll gain politically by doing so. What a lot of Canadians are having a hard time comprehending about Donald Trump is that he’s the new Ronald Reagan, every few Decades America goes through an economic cleansing.

This time Americans voted Trump, to date none of Trump’s economic policies have been unreasonable, he’s strategies to implement his policies have been a bit controversial, to say the least, but the emotional responses to Trump by Canadians are unfortunate and I think we’re going to pay for them. That said when I when I see Canadians bashing a business that fired the manager who caused the uproar I have to look in the mirror and wonder what the future holds.

Personally, I’d like to see innovations in Canada thrive the way they would have had Canadian innovators not been inundated with so many governments enforced regulations leading to higher and excessive costs. That aside if my dream for a much better Canada doesn’t happen I think our economy is going to eventually come to a screeching halt anyway. I think it would be better than we as Canadians deal with these problems now rather than later, but sometimes the universe has its own plans.

So I’m eagerly awaiting the end result of Trudeau’s tariffs. There are many Canadians that don’t understand what a Free Trade agreement is, there aren’t too many free trade agreements existing in the world today, a lot of Canadians also don’t understand the regulatory environment that Canada currently has which slaps tariffs on other countries for not following Canadian quality standards. Simply finding another trading partner isn’t as easy as many want you to believe.

To the people reading this please stop unfairly bashing The Teahouse in Vancouver’s Stanley Park!

Interesting times ahead.
