Trump threatens auto tariffs if trade talks fail – August 11, 2018,

According to an article on MSN via The Canadian Press which can be found by clicking the link below:

Trump threatens auto tariffs if trade talks fail

Donald Trump appears to be upset with how the Canadian government is handling the trade dispute. I’ve been saying this for quite some time now, the longer this trade dispute lasts the more likely it is that this tit-for-tat trade dispute with Canada and the United States will become the norm. Because Canada has more to lose it would be wise for Canada to have either done nothing or make some concessions, but the Canadian government’s hardline stance towards Trump is going to create a disaster that appears to be heading towards Canada anyway. Yesterday I wrote about vacant jobs in Canada. One of the reasons Canada has so many vacant jobs comes from our redistributionist economic model.

We have province to province tariffs, in many instances, it might cost a Canadian more to ship an item in Canada that it will ship the exact same item to the United States. In Canada, big government is the norm, so much so that a lot of men are passing up on trade jobs. Now as I pointed out in my previous article, one of the main reasons Canada has a labor shortage comes from the mere fact that our education system is not aligned with market demands.

So we have a lot of students taking college and University courses that will never land them a secure high paying job. To make matters worse most colleges have extremely high prices and a limited amount of teachers to teach the in-demand trade courses that would lead to higher paying more secure jobs for the Canadian population. Here again is the main problem with redistribution economic model which actually has proven to lead to more suicide amongst people.

Redistribution and protectionism keep people away from being self-employed. Prior to lands being conquered humans were free to roam around the earth as they pleased, yes there were dangers and yes there obstacles but the FREEDOM afforded to humanity at the time made entire populations of people feel that anything was possible. Because of this tax from one group and give to what the government deems a more deserving economic group model is now so embedded into our Canadian culture we can’t even see or allow a Trump character to challenge our orthodoxy.

Canadians that understand basic economics must realize that a large number of Canadians have no idea of the disaster heading our way. Canada is getting more and more economically isolated, but this message hasn’t reached the Canadian populace yet because we’ve become spoiled by prosperity, we’ve gotten used to being highly taxed, we’ve gotten used to having the government solve tough, cosmic justice problems for us.

We’ve gotten used to charging countries tariffs, we’ve gotten used to universal health care that’s currently more affordable than America’s health care system, we’ve gotten used to having fewer options and allow Canadian elites to control the Canadian economy, we’ve gotten used to high real estate and rental prices and it’s not until this system collapses or hyperinflates that we’ll realise what we’ve done to ourselves.

Trump hasn’t budged on NATO, so America was silent when Saudi Arabia made its threats against Canada. Canada hasn’t budged regarding NAFTA which is a similar stance China took towards the United States so Trump, as it stands now, may hammer out a bilateral deal with Mexico. Canada is running a deficit, has a shortage of skilled labor, is experiencing a brain drain and has a large percentage of its citizenry in debt. How bright does the future look?

The last thing I want to point out to Canada is auto-tariffs if this happens to be that the U.S is a larger market than Canada don’t be surprised if a large number of US- Canadian automakers head back home because if it’s one thing businesses hate its uncertainty. I personally have no idea why the Canadian dollar is as high as it is now. Furthermore, don’t forget that Saudi Arabia has the ability to destroy Canadian oil. At Saudi Arabia’s leisure, similar to what they did to the fracking industry and to solar in the United States, Saudi Arabia can lower the price of oil. Social Justice similar to Fascism works best with a powerful military if Canada want’s to force its entitlements and ideal on other nations I’d advise their governments to spend more money on building their military

Interesting times ahead
