Ontario Premier Doug Ford explains why he’s Pro-Supply Management

Picking and choosing when you’re a conservative. Don’t split the vote say the supporters of the conservatives party of Canada. Do I like some of Doug Ford’s policies, sure I do, I’m glad Kathleen Wynne’s Liberals aren’t running Ontario of course I am, but there’s still a problem and the Conservative party of Canada refuses to address it. It’s called corporate welfare. As long as corporate welfare exists, welfares of all kinds have a right to exist also. If the Conservative Party of Canada is too scared to even address this issue, well all they’re doing is keeping the seat warm for the Liberals. Below is a snippet of Doug Ford on CTV News.

Based on my observation Doug Ford suffers from the same delusion Donald Trump suffers from, which is short-sightedness. When you support protectionism or government intervention in the economy you’re supporting a welfare state, which is eventually going to grow to unsustainable heights. Part of the reason the Canadian economy is in so much trouble now is that Stephen Harper didn’t want to tell Canadians the truth while he was in power in fear that if he did, Canadians would run back to the Liberal party. Well, guess what Conservatives Canada voted Liberal because Canadian voters woke up one day and said to themselves why vote Liberal light? When I can get the entire Leftist Liberal experience by voting for the Liberal Party of Canada.

You see when you get voted in, your job as a premier is to do what your voting base told you to do. I find it interesting that a lot of the same people that voted for Justin Trudeau are now complaining about what he’s doing and not doing. In my opinion, Justin Trudeau has been rather consistent. He lied when ran from Prime minister of Canada and he’s lying now. Justin Trudeau was pro-authoritarian when he was candidate Trudeau and he’s pro-authoritarian now. He was feminist when as Candidate Trudeau and he’s feminists now, even the Leftist media reported that Justin Trudeau’s weakest point was his lack of knowledge regarding the economy, well his lack of economic knowledge is the same now, yet a large chunk of the Canadian population voted him in any way.

Part of the reason Trudeau’s message resonated with Canadian voters was that Stephen Harper did little to nothing to change people’s minds as to why big government is a bad idea. Also spending increased under Stephen Harper, personal debt increased because Harper made little to no attempt to end corporate welfare in Canada. So when Trudeau’s message was your government is going to spend more money and raise taxes a lot of Canadian voters said sounds good to us.

Trudeau’s economy is heading for a collapse and quite frankly I’d prefer the collapse happens while Trudeau is in power, because I don’t want there to be any doubt to why the Canadian economy crashed. I can’t do it anymore, I can’t vote for the lesser of evils Doug Ford’s Conservatives no longer have my vote. From now on I vote for what I believe in.
