Is Canada ready for Maxime Bernier? – November 13, 2018,
Pierre Trudeau is a Canadian icon, a lot of the disastrous laws he created have been fought for since he left office. The economic genius that was Paul Martin is actually the reason a lot of policies dreamed up by Pierre Trudeau was saved. Brian Mulroney who I heard was a Conservative raised taxes on Canadians to preserve Pierre Trudeau’s socialist dream, the conservative party split, which helped Jean Chrétien’s Liberals to rule the 1990’s which is where the words of “don’t split the Conservative vote” come from.
Personally, I disagree with this flawed ideology of vote splitting. The Liberals and the NDP or both socialist, the Liberals or more corporatist whereas the NDP is more of a pure socialist political party. I also often talk about the Green Party which to me is one of the most powerful political parties in Canada, they’re also socialist, with an environmental appeal, that right there is 3 socialist political parties. There is, of course, the Quebecois, there’s no denying their political power, however, what’s been great about the Quebecois is that Quebecers, as well as Canadians as a whole, have been able to see their destructive policies for what they are.
With that said Maxime Bernier, in my opinion, has the chance to be a Canadian icon. Unlike most Maxime Bernier supporters I’m in this for the long haul. I could care less if Maxime Bernier wins the 2019 election, in actuality I’d ok with him losing, to even Justin Trudeau. What I want most of all is for the views on the political landscape to change.
Why are most media outlets in Canada and America left leaning?
Now I get it, most Canadians who lean more to the right or who lean more to freedom over security hate CBC. I get it, but forget about the CBC for a moment, let’s talk about the other Canadian mainstream media outlets, why do most of them lean left? Well, they lean left because most political polls show that most Canadians are Leftist or they have Leftist ideals, so it’s common sense that a business would build itself around what it believes Canadian are.
This is also true in the United States, Although Donald Trump won the election, Hilary Clinton won the popular vote. California has a lot of people and most of those people vote left and being that the Democrats in California are turning that U.S state into a hell hole a lot of those White California Leftists voters are moving to places like Texas and bringing their leftist ideas with them. This, of course, equates to most media outlets assuming that most Americans want big government, therefore their companies will hire Left-leaning writers and reporters.
Furthermore, let’s be honest, it’s easier to be a Leftist because your sound bits are smaller which makes for great television. The problem we have on the right is that we have to explain things in depth. As an example minimum wage, this is an easy sound bite for a Leftist, who can easily say on television those greedy businesses should pay more money to their workers? If I don’t know anything about business, the free market, freedom, liberty, the costs to run a business and the cost to make payroll for an employee, of course, I’d say YAH higher minimum wages for everybody! Make it happen!
So this is basically why Conservatives in time become corrupted, everything is relative and the truth is Leftist have an easier time answering questions than those of us on the Right side politically do. This is why trumps populism worked better than Ron Paul’s Libertarianism. If you’re a Maxime Bernier supporter what you ought to do is listen to some Trump supporters, many of them are all over the place with political issues, most Trump supporters have no firm foundation politically, they just like Trump because Trump speaks their language.
Trump is rare in that he’s perfected sound bites for media consumption. He’ll say something that may or may not be true without fully explaining himself and then the Leftist media takes the bait and interprets Trumps words from their bias ideology, being that Trump loves to talk and also has a very high IQ which affords him the ability to reply to people constructively he’s better able to articulate his conservative views and the expense of the leftist media who view him from their ideology.
This is not a skill that Canadians should expect from Maxime Bernier I quite frankly this is what makes me like Maxime Bernier the most. Because the unfortunate truth for American’s is that Trump’s policies may disappear when Trump is no longer president-elect. Also what will happen to Trump in time is what happened to Ronald Reagan which is new politicians will take portions of what they liked about Donald Trump and use it for their own political gain. Being that Maxime Bernier is taking the more bland approach what I anticipate will happen is that his moral arguments will eventually start to resonate with Canadian voters.
I keep telling Canadians we’re in a world of trouble going forward, we’re quickly turning into a public sector economy, in Ontario because of the Kathleen Wynne minimum wages hike along with other provincial and federal regulations and taxes if we continue on this path we’re going to have a currency crisis and a hyper-inflation crisis that’s going to be extremely problematic going forward. It’s when these things start happening that I really think Canadians will start to question politicians.
Now, the reason why I don’t care if Justin Trudeau wins the coming election is because this is really his fathers mess and if let’s say Andrew Scheer wins and the crash happens on his watch similar to how the crash happened under Brian Mulroney’s watch Conservatives and those of us on the right will be the ones to blame. Even during Stephen Harper’s reign his government didn’t really cut back anything, they lowered the Brian Mulroney created GST and they did a better job managing the Paul Martin’s economy, but they never really challenged Pierre Trudeau’s Canada.
Maxime Bernier’s People’s Party of Canada, in my opinion, will challenge Pierre Trudeau’s Canada and for me what I visualize happening in Justin Trudeau’s government coming to the realization that their policies are deeply flawed. What I’m not sure of is how soon Canadians will realize it. Explaining Conservative views is not easy in a secular world, typically what happens is that the people have to see for themselves that Leftism isn’t working before they’ll actually start listening. I’m not entirely sure if Canadians are there yet and that’s why I’m not 100% sure Canadians are ready for Maxime Bernier.
The point of me writing this is to illustrate to my readers that we need to be prepared for the long haul, I get it some of you want changes now, but what I’m trying to say is that a large number of Canadians need to be re-educated and the only way this is going to happen is via debates and via the vote.
So if the Liberals win the upcoming election, but the Conservatives are 2nd and the People’s Party of Canada is third isn’t that a win? In my world that’s a win! that’s when the media will have to treat this movement as something they’ll have to thoroughly investigate and as all my readers know once you understand Libertarianism you can’t go back, there’s no turning back you know too much, you can see through government puppets, you can see the economy for what it is and not some magical thing that just happens by luck.
In Canada, we are very close not only to prosperity but being able to explain prosperity to others which is a great way to expand peace thoroughly worldwide. Personally, I think there’s a lot we as a species can not only offer our planet but our universe and that’s why this movement is important to me. I don’t believe we’re alone in the Universe and I know the fast we deal with these petty scabbles the sooner we can do more space traveling and exploring real human development.
Keep spreading the word, keep talking don’t let them silence us
