Canada Post Alternatives – Can’t Stand CUPW and Canada Post? – Here are your current Alternatives – November 21, 2018,
Let’s make Canada Post a Niche again!
To any entrepreneurs reading this, I’ve met a lot of the young people in Toronto and some from Alberta and BC. Young people, smart people, the future is you, it’s time Canadians put an end to this Canada Post monopoly. A new era is here, I don’t want my country to continue to suffer because of Canada Post workers via CUPW(Canadian Union of Postal Workers) wanting more job security at the expense of every other Canadian.
Let’s make Canada Post a Niche again…
Canada Post was granted Crown Corporation status to serve we the people. Canada Post is no longer doing that, Canada Post is now serving CUPW as well as Foreign countries like China, who are able to use Canada Post services to ship items to Canadians at a fraction of the cost it would cost a Canadian to mail to another Canadian, making matters even worse is that Canada Post in the instance of ePacket, also gives Chinese businesses a tracking number for a lot less than any Canadian individual or business can get. Canada Post is no longer a serving Canada’s best interests, so I ask my fellow countrymen to come up with a solution. If we can’t do it legislatively, let’s vote with our dollars.
Below are currently 2 options that working to end the Canada Post monopoly. They’re not perfect, but they’re current options for Canadians. Why I made my plea above is because I know that, someone will read this and pass the message onto someone who can solve this silly Canada Post monopoly shipping problem. The larger companies like UPS, FedEx, DHL focus primarily on volume, which is understandable because of fuel costs.
In the United States, USPS typically requires a government bailout and the reason for this is to make sure that although they’re a public utility working for the public service they’re not supposed to use their public utility monopoly to be purely profit driven. As of the date of this post via CUPW, Canada Post has become purely profit driven not for the benefit of the Canadian People but at the expense of the Canadian people. I want to point out that I’m not receiving any commissions for the links provided in this blog post.
I’m also hoping to add more to this list, in the future. Uber turned the taxi cab industry into a niche, it’s time we do the same to Canada Post. Let’s keep Canada Post out of ecommerce and limit their damaging effects on small, medium and large businesses Let’s make Canada Post a Postal Niche again!
If there are more options to Canada Post not listed here, please add them below.
