Doug Ford Led Ontario saw the biggest employment increase with the addition of 36,900 of 55,900 net new jobs in February 2019, – March 8, 2019,

Well, that’s why I voted for him, Doug Ford led Conservative saw the largest gains in employment adding 36,900 new jobs in the month of February alone, neighboring have not provinces like Quebec focused more on trying to attract European immigrants to come work in their socialist paradise, unfortunately, their plan hasn’t worked out yet. Most of the job gains happened in the services sectors which shouldn’t be a surprise being that Kathlynne Wynne raised minimum wages to a level not reflective to the current Ontario economy, clearly Doug Ford doesn’t have the courage or has been advised to let sleeping dogs lie so we spoiled, entitled Ontarians won’t be educated on why minimum wages equal less manufacturing jobs.

Manufacturing jobs lower the cost of living because travel costs, tariffs and in some instances supply management aren’t included in the retail prices we end up paying when we import foreign-made goods, sure the Unions in an effort to sure their members their worth will demand more wages and in Canada use the power of Government protect the people they represent from domestic competition by forcing newly created companies to pay the wages of an established company which is what minimum wages do, which is why countries like Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Austria, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Singapore abolished the minimum wage on the federal level because it’s really a stupid law that denies a country flexibility with its currency

Anyway, some job growth is better than no job growth so I’m grateful to Premier Ford for at the very least, trying to deliver on his promises. The rest of Canada do better, BC and Alberta hired NDP socialist to run their Provinces and oddly enough they can’t even get a Pipeline built? Personally, I don’t care much for Pipelines but Canadians like a devalued currency and minimum wages so if that’s what my fellow countrymen want well the end result is Pipelines are the only option that makes any financial sense.

Being that these Pipelines can’t be built based on whatever the concerns are, the net result is that other provinces aren’t getting the same job growth as Ontario. Ok for the record based the article you can read below most of the job gains came from the categories of professional, scientific and technical services, public administration and wholesale and retail trade. now according to this article private sector jobs climbed by 31,800 last month, while public sector jobs rose 8,900 and, the number of self-employed people or entities increased by 15,100.

As I’ve stated in other posts non-manufacturing private jobs that aren’t retail related are in many instances attached to the Government, furthermore, Crown Corporations and other State Run entities aren’t considered Public Sector jobs. Lastly, let’s be honest here, it’s the Federal election season, they hire too and the engines that power Politics do employee people, so excuse me if I’m a little pessimistic on the job growth numbers in 2019. I’ve always given credit to Justin Trudeau for growing the number of people who work for the Government, Justin Trudeau has done an amazing job borrowing money and using that borrowed taxpayer money to boost job numbers, the problem with public sector job growth is that eventually, it reaches a stage where it’s an essential part of the economy.

Similar to Argentina and then one day an actual recession hits and when this recession hits, the country is reminded that the Government isn’t in the business of making a profit, which means that the tax revenue they’re collecting amongst themselves is not enough to deliver on the promises they made to voters, is that the Public sector will be so large and in many instances unionized, even the well-meaning Politicians like Doug Ford will find themselves in a bind, tell voters the truth and be voted out or do what the Liberals did with SNC-Lavalin and tell Canadians that you’re job as Leader is to protect Canadian jobs?

The delay to tell Canadians the truth is going to really hurt us in a few years, anyway, I’ve marked all of these posts with dates, because I want my readers to understand how to fix these problems once the crisis hits.
