Ontario, Canada Slashes Funding For Low-Income People In Court – A Genuine Thank You To Doug Ford – April 15,
2019
So far so good for the Doug Ford Government of Ontario, I genuinely appreciate his pushing back against Leftist, namely the Liberals and the NDP who want nothing more than to raise the cost of living on the backs of the private sector. As it’s been well documented on my blog, I’m not a fan of Canada’s bloated public sector. I still don’t understand why Canadians who work would ever want a bloated public sector? It makes no sense, even people on welfare don’t like going to Government offices.
People on Ontario works/Welfare complain all the time about having to go to those annoying welfare meetings that question these welfare recipients on their progress in regards to Ontario Works. Now, part of the reason why taxes are so and also why the Loonie is so low in comparison to the U.S dollar revolves around Canada’s HUGE government. In order to pay all of these public servants and in order to pay for all of these public services economic wizardry has to be performed, the first act of economic wizardry that has to be performed is money manipulation, if you’ve ever been to across the border and noticed that a lot of things in say Ontario appear to look better in appearance than many parts of New York State, it’s because they are.
It’s not like Canada is filled with a bunch of morons, there are millions of extremely intelligent Canadians that have contributed to the aesthetics of this nation, however in an attempt for the government to take full credit, they continuously use their excessive tax consumption to grow the public sector. I often ask the question, is there ever a time when Unions aren’t necessary? Is there ever a time when it’s clear as day that a government program hasn’t worked and should, therefore, be dissolved? No, not as long as Canadians instinctively hire Leftist.
Now, what Doug Ford is doing is what should be done by all Conservatives is not play safe, instead of push back, push back as far as you can while you’re in office. Cut spending, shrink the size of government, cut unnes=cessary regulations, fight for what’s right and explain why you’re doing what you’re doing. As a Conservative you always have to push back, there’s no playing it safe, if Ontarians in the future hire a Liberal then they’ll notice the difference in their standard of living and their higher tax rate.
Kathlynne Wynne made Ontarians rethink not only Liberals and the NDP but Leftism in general. However, I don’t think she would have ever won a single political Race if Stephen Harper was as aggressive with shrinking the size of Government as Doug Ford is. People have to see and feel the differences, if young people want to vote for teir destruction let them, at the very least the Conservative message is very, very clear. Canadians need to know the distinct differences between Liberals and Conservatives. Once Canadians comprehend fully the difference then if let’s say a bunch of Canadians vote for Leftism, those of us on the political Right can explain more easily and efficiently why modern-day Liberalism doesn’t work when you can discredit modern day Liberalism, full-blown socialists like the NDP are easier to deal with.
In a democracy they’ll always be swings as people may want to try something they think is new, but if you’ve cut spending, if you’ve shrunk the size of Government it makes their jobs a whole lot tougher which gives those of us on the Political Right the chance to explain the disasters that will be created by growing the size of Government. With all the great things Doug Ford is doing, I still have to add that an economic crash is inevitably going to hit Canada. It’s not like Doug Ford is cutting the size of Government, Government workers aren’t being laid off, similar to his brother Doug Ford is Freezing government paychecks and in the instance of the article below, cutting spending from taxpayers who are being forced to pay for legal aid. Being honest because I do my best to stay out of trouble, I have little knowledge about how much abuse there must be in the legal aid system. In Toronto, the mentalities of most of the people who are on Ontario works and other taxpayer-funded redistribution schemes is disgusting in most instances.
Why I hate minimum wages is because most of the people on Ontario works are waiting for that perfect job. Meaning that they refuse to do any job that they believe is beneath them. Minimum wages are a frivolous law, that gives rise to excuses not to participate in the growing or maintaining of our society. A society can’t even measure poverty when there’s a minimum wage, because remember according to unions if a business can’t afford to pay minimum wages, that business shouldn’t be in business. Now because of this minimum wage attitude, a lot of businesses in Canada have disappeared, almost everything in a dollar or a bargain store that used to be made in Canada is now made in China.
Now, if there are no minimum wages, you’d have a better tariff system, without minimum wages you could have a morally based tariff system. Without minimum wages, you don’t have to artificially lower the value of the Canadian dollar, because if any country has no market-based pricing and they’re trying to flood the Canadian market with crap that we can build ourselves, it changes the entire dynamic of the wealth in this country. The best thing about being in Canada is that we’re neighboring with the United States, it’s extremely backward from my perspective how the Canadian government is structured.
Because and I’ll continue to say this until it sticks, Canada can capitalize morally from every single economic mistake being made by Americans, which would make our country so rich it would make your head spin. The problem I see with making Canada rich is that we have socialist parading around the government. So the first sign of wealth they see, what they’ll do is grow the public sector and quite possibly try to nationalize industries or turn them into Crown Corporations.
This is why from my perspective I believe in pushing back! Thank You, Doug Ford,
