Isn’t It time the People on Welfare paid fair taxes? In response to thestar.com Columnist Robin V. Sears – April 21, 2019,

Now, I know you hear it all the time, why don’t the rich pay taxes? The answer to this question is the rich pay a lot of taxes that they’re not given credit for, #1 tax the rich pay that often goes unnoticed especially in Canada are tariff taxes or customs and duties taxes, this tax is one of the largest contributors to Canadian taxes and as the Canadian economy becomes increasingly reliant on imports the rich will have to continuously pay tariff related taxes. Then there are sales taxes if you shop at stores like Walmart and Amazon and you voluntarily paid a tax to make a purchase for something you need, well those taxes wouldn’t exist unless some rich person was able to sell you something you wanted.

If you live in Canada and notice that sometimes there are things in America that aren’t available in Canada, well typically in order for those goods to be available in Canada, some rich person as to pay tariffs and charge you sales taxes in order for you to get it. Now, you can assume that the government could simply nationalize all the big corporations in Canada like Castro did in Cuba, but then you have to remember that Government employees get paid also, not only do Government workers get paid but they typically have fantastic public sector unions that do an amazing job of raising the costs on everything people consume.

Now that I’ve explained 2 definitive ways the rich pay taxes that people on welfare don’t, let’s talk about the 3rd way the rich pay taxes, INCOME TAXES! Now, let me ask you a question if GM employees pay income taxes and one day GM decides to leave Oshawa Ontario, do those same income taxes paid for by the employees still get paid? The answer is NO!

Do you know why those taxes don’t get paid, because without the private sector providing jobs for employees INCOME TAXES don’t get paid? Now, one thing that most Canadians have a hard time understanding is why in Europe their governments focus so much attention to SALES taxes or value-added taxes(VAT) That’s because a lot of Europeans understand income taxes and have a better grasp on how taxes work, so instead of trying to raise income taxes and minimum wages which in many ways is the largest contributor to the government getting fewer taxes, the government instead does whatever it can to make people pay for consumption. In case you don’t understand where the Climate Cange scam came from? It comes from the understanding that taxing business, whether they’re small, medium or large doesn’t work. So instead the government wanted to spook people into submitting to a fake carbon tax.

Now, is air quality poor in some regions of the world? Of course, it is, but these regions are typically third world nations that are being propped up by western countries who have such a high standard of living because of the Rich that they’d rather not earn their fair share or have the government prop up their wages have the government enact more laws to benefit people who don’t contribute their fair share of taxes.

People on Welfare don’t pay their fair share of taxes

People on welfare usually don’t pay income taxes, plus they are usually afforded privileges the working class isn’t afforded. All of the social programs come from the working private sector class. Without the working private sector class, the public sector doesn’t have jobs and are unlikely to pay income or sales taxes! The government is not a for-profit institution, the money it receives comes from the private sector, Crown Corporations in Canada are given monopolies that actually hinder job growth as there usually is not an equivalent business to compete with them and create more income tax producing jobs or competitive prices for consumers to choose from. Most crown corporations like the CBC are beneficiaries of the labor of the middle-class private sector.

When will the corporate and individual welfare classes pay their fair share of taxes in Canada?

The rich are getting richer because the government creates corporate monopolies, once the barrier to entry grows because of laws like the minimum wages and other regulations, only a few big corporations can get in on the game. Now if only a handful of big corporations are not only paying the most taxes but also employing the most people paying income taxes, how are they not paying their fair share, would you rather they live with the existing laws that benefit them staying in place or would you rather they leave and cut regulations so there could be more job creators?

Via the vote Canadians have decided that they want welfare and they want the government to take care of them. well, if Canadians want a nanny state, an oligarchy is going to inevitably be formed. Freedom or free markets mean prices deflate because of competition, no Crown Corporation like CMHC exists in a free market system, the market regulates prices based on demand, but if you want to regulate things like wages or if you want to have supply management, well you’ve economically raised the barrier to entry and not everybody can play with the big players and if there are few big players paying the most taxes why wouldn’t those oligarchs be subject to special treatment? They’re contributing the most, the rich are the engines of this country’s economy. What did you think Welfare simply came from printing money? No, value has to be added, if a government simply prints money without justification you get hyperinflation.

In order for the silent tax(inflation) to benefit society as a whole, that silent tax has to circulate through the economy slowly. If you let’s say raise taxes on the wealthy or let’s say cut off loopholes that the rich use, do you honestly think the oligarchs that run this country aren’t going to respond? Target simply left the Canadian market when they realized they couldn’t turn a profit, the companies that have stayed in Canada all have had to raise their prices and quite frankly the fewer options Consumers have the higher the prices for Goods might go.

CMHC helped more individuals and Companies to qualify for loans they’d otherwise not qualify for and now the prices have risen because there’s less supply of housing, well it’s not so much that there’s less or fewer supply it’s just that you, know people who good get in early on the real estate scheme did, so now in Canada we’re creating a Real Estate oligarchy. I’d like to ask when are welfare recipients corporate and individual going to pay their fair share? because it’s the individual voters voting for Oligarchs that’s allowing certain groups not pay taxes at all.
