The Canadian mainstream media is going through something similar to what happened in the United States when Donald Trump won the election. The mainstream media in Canada is having a difficult time comprehending how far Left they’ve gone. In the past, the Leftists didn’t have a hard time controlling the narrative, in fact, a Carbon Tax, or a tax to basically breathe would have been conspiracy theory talk a decade ago.
A media bailout package in a time when it costs about $10 to buy a domain name and maybe $1000 maximum per month to get your content out to Canadians. Youtube, Social media is free a lot of these Leftist writers have social media followers, why can’t these Canadian Media Giants turn a profit? The reason Canadian media is struggling revolves around their messaging. They’ve basically tried to brainwash the Canadian public and because Canadian can come across as passive the Media has completely lost touch with the reality of everyday Canadians.
I’m getting up there in age and to me in my mind, the 1990s seem like yesterday, but the 1990s were 20 years ago, things change people change, people become more knowledgable and people will educate themselves about what’s really going on. The brainwashing era is coming to an end and unfortunately for the Leftist, their Nanny State is being challenged and they’re not sure what to do.
CBC, the National Post, CTV are all on Youtube, now we all know stories of little kids becoming millionaires on Youtube. Being that the CBC, the Toronto Star, and other MSM organizations have a lot more resources and people at their disposal than do these independent Youtube stars, why is it that the MSM is having such a difficult time? Could it be they’ve become too complacent, too lazy, to out of touch or is it because they became so used to controlling the narrative that now that everything they say can be scrutinized fairly in real-time, they’re having to resort to propaganda campaigns?

Her article revolves around trying to frame Bernier as a racist whose somehow even managed to appeal to non-white people? In America, Donald Trump’s common-sense approach is appealing to Black and Hispanic Americans and this doesn’t allow the Leftist media to frame him as a racist, but because that’s all they have, they have no choice but continue their fight to frame Conservatives as bigots and racists.
As per usual Huffington Post will write about TheRebel.media when they believe it’s serving their narrative. No Bernier says Islamist Extremists’ Have Infiltrated Canadian Politics and the Huffington Post responds with this

Now, it should be noted that although TheRebel.media is the target here, let’s make something very clear the person who a lot of these Islamic extremists are trying to silence is Ezra Levant, who just happens to be Jewish. Now, I’ve said this over and over and over again, most of the racists are on the Left. However, Leftist Racism is able to hide under the guise of multi-culturalism.
We’re not one Canada United, no the Left wants us to be a multicultured society. In a multicultured society equates to special privileges for particular groups. Growing up there used to be a lot of people who called themselves Jehovah Witness, Canadians pushed back against them, why? Many of them wouldn’t stand for the National anthem. We a nation, one people, you’re free to do what you want, but as Maxime Bernier has pointed out, Muslim extremists are getting very political, they even came to Maxime Bernier looking for special favors.
