What’s better a Unionized Job or No Job? GM stops vehicle assembly in Oshawa, the UNIFOR Disaster – September 20, 2019,

Quick question, will there ever be a period of time where individuals don’t need a union to represent them in a workplace? No offense to people who are part of a labour union, but the Government of Canada is pretty Liberal and personally, if I ever heard that an employer especially an employer as large as GM was involved in slavery I’d fight to have that company shut down and their management and CEO’s arrested.

However, the beautiful thing about Canada is if an employer is treating you badly, you can quit and even better if you’re in a non-unionized environment you can negotiate on your own behalf and even voice your complaints online and/or in-person to your local representatives. When you’re an Income tax-paying employee, you’re actually one of the most valuable resources in the Canadian economy, and the freer the market is in the Canadian economy the more HIGH paying jobs that will be available. Now, if you’re working or used to be working at GM, I’d like you to consider reading the article below.

Now, obviously, if UNIFOR or some other horribly run Labor Union is able to invade Toyota I’m certain Toyota’s fate in Canada will be similar to GMs but, I just wanted to illustrate Toyota expanding in Ontario to say to people, that maybe, UNIFOR is the problem? Maybe all the Labour Unions associated with U.S Auto manufacturing are the problem? Can you at least consider that your Union might be the problem? Yes, I get it, when those union reps are in your face talking to you and appear to be on your side, fighting for you, it’s hard to tell them to their faces that you don’t agree with some of their actions.

Furthermore, you might feel guilty for turning your backs on them because maybe you feel like that helped you out in some way, but I’d like to remind the readers that members of Unions pay UNION DUES! When I pay you for something I expect results? Is there something wrong with having this approach in life, I’m paying you Union dues to secure my employment? Did I say something wrong? Imagine I went to a restaurant for some steak, the restaurant took my money, didn’t give me my steak, then apologized not refunding my money and kicking me out of their restaurant?

The global economy is growing, I’m sorry GM workers, but in my opinion, GM was a pretty damn good employer, GM is no longer known for its quality and this happened primarily because GM had to find creative ways to remain competitive. As many of you in the GM plants know, GM had to outsource to pay many of you. If people stop buying GM cars and G is obligated to pay it’s employees more money? What did you think this would continue forever? These are discussions Unions are supposed to explain to the people paying their union dues. GM is a publically traded company, their indebt to their shareholders and have to cater to their customers. Well, GM employee, consumers aren’t buying GM made vehicle like they used too.

So the GM money pool is drying up and while it’s drying up, your Labour unions deem it wise to strike or to fight back. Maybe just maybe the Labour union is the problem! In reality had it not been for UNIFOR this would be a great time for Canada to be a manufacturing destination for GM, don’t be fooled, it’s a well-known fact that Canadians are great at manufacturing automobiles. The problem is a large number of you have been brainwashed into believing that you need UNIFOR. If you’re too scared to speak up against UNIFOR and you lose your jobs permanently, consider my reasoning for why!
