John Boltons’ book proves that if Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland weren’t such horrible negotiators Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor would have been freed by now! – June 19, 2020,

So, I’m reading an article on the CBC about John Bolton’s book, obviously, the CBC article which is clickbait pretty much titles the article Trump dislikes Trudeau blah, blah, blah and it has a lot of fluff that I’m sure Liberal Canadians will feel good about, but the actual substance of the CBC article is at the bottom where it states the following:

Bolton’s book also takes a quick dig at former prime minister Jean Chrétien. It involves Chrétien’s suggestion that Canada should free Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou, in Canadian custody pending extradition to the U.S.
“Never a friend of the U.S., [Chrétien] was arguing that Canada should simply not abide by our extradition treaty,” he writes.

“[Vice President Mike] Pence, Pompeo and I all urged Canada to stand firm, stressing we would support them every way we could, including directly raising with China the mistreatment of Canadian citizens.”

Anyone who understands bartering and negotiation knows that this would have been the perfect time to raise the question of Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor. These dipshits caught Trump in a desperate situation, what could he have done, if Canada simply engaged on the agreement. All Justin or Freeland could have done is called Trump and said can you help us to get the Chinese Communist Party to release Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor?, you’re putting the Canadian people in a very bad position right now Trump can you do us this favor?

In a period like this, you don’t call Trump once, you call him over and over and over again, you put pressure on him, you irritate him, based on what Bolton said, Trump was irritated with Trudeau, well the Extradition still put Canada in a power position, because Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou was on Canadian soil and we with one strike of the pen Meng Wanzhou could be released legally on a technicality!

I can’t believe that Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland missed an opportunity like that pass them by. I’ve said it once I’ll say it again, Canada didn’t have to sign on to USMCA. The Democrats clearly weren’t on board with anything Trump was doing and if Trudeau had put up a fight, that would have another way, Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland could have had Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor released.

I’m being honest, as a Canadian, I feel irritated by the stupidity of Justin Trudeau, the guy, and his entire cabinet are a bunch of idiots. This is why you when you form your cabinet you don’t do it based on race and gender, because being honest, I agree with the former Prime Minister/Chinese Communist Party lobbyist Jean Chrétien, I would have threatened to free Meng Wanzhou if the Trump administration didn’t give in to my demand.

Meng Wanzhou was never that important to the American public, it would have been a tiny issue if Trump refused to help get Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor freed. Trump did not win the popular vote and chances are a large segment of Americans would have been sympathetic to Canada’s position regarding Meng Wanzhou but Jesus Christ Trudeau and Freeland are a bunch of idiots, holy crap!

Lastly, I will say this clearly, in my opinion, we kidnapped Meng Wanzhou, because of the freaking socialism in our country and all of our tax dollars going to these dumb socialist programs, Canada needs America for protection, I’m 100% against this, I hate the fact that we need Americas help, I don’t mind the assistance from our neighbors from the south, but smart countries only sign bilateral agreements that protect the host countries sovereignty, I don’t care how any of you Conservatives want to frame this story Justin Trudeau and Chrystia Freeland kidnapped Meng Wanzhou free of charge for Trump, because Trump is a much better negotiator!
