Chrystia Freeland responds to U.S. decision to impose tariffs on Canadian aluminum with retaliatory tariffs – August 7, 2020,

So Chrystia Freeland responded to Trump’s tariffs with our own tariffs and what I thought was funny, was that she said ultimately Americans pay for the tariffs, well the truth is Canadians will pay for her retaliatory tariffs.

The economic IQ in this country is declining at a rapid rate and our mainstream media is disgusting, if you have any time please listen to the questions asked by Canada’s mainstream media to Chrystia Freeland.

Canadian mainstream media is pretty much making it seem like Canada is the victim in all of this, we’re actually the perpetrators. Try buying something on Amazon.com today and notice on checkout the tariff charges the Canadian government charges you to buy American.

In simplistic terms, Trump is responding to that and the Canadian government who sold off all its gold reserves isn’t exactly in a position to negotiate, because if let’s say the dollar standard is replaced, at least temporarily, the gold standard would be its replacement. THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT HAS NO GOLD! America has fort Knox!

Another quick reminder about Donald Trump, he hates currency manipulation, Canada’s currency is artificially devalued and well, from an economic standpoint Trump is playing the long game, meaning that during this U.S election cycle the price of gold is going up and the U.S dollar has been declining in fears of President Joe Biden.

This is bad news for the Canadian economy if the dollar begins to rise, which is exactly what Trump wanted when he got into office. The last time the Canadian and other currencies around the world began rising the U.S economy started recovering!

President Joe Biden isn’t good for Canada

A reminder to Canadians, Tariffs are usually a Democrat thing and Labor Unions in the United States will support Joe Biden if Joe Biden doubles down on aluminum tariffs. The difference between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is Joe Biden won’t make an elaborate speech, Joe Biden will leave the tariff as is and deflect the conversation by talking about social justice-related issues.

One last thing is Joe Biden will signal to the markets a stagnant U.S economy which is bad news for Canada if Justin Trudeau maintains his socialist agenda. The Government revenue in Canada was declining prior to COVID-19, I can only imagine the Federal deficit when COVID-19 is yesterday’s news.

I personally think Canada has horrible leadership right now, this entire aluminum fiasco is a very easy fix, but Canadians love them some big government, so I like many other Canadians will watch this situation and accept the outcome.

Prepare yourselves accordingly!
