Just so I’m clear on where I’m going with this, people may not have noticed, but in Canada, the Flu has basically DISAPPEARED, most of my family work in the highest levels of health care, so I know EXACTLY what’s going on, and let’s be gentle and say that they’re taking a better safe than sorry approach to COVID-19, moving the goal post is okay if it’s for the greater good of society, right?
With that said, I want to be clear with the reader that, the government will use this against you forever, this isn’t going away until all parts involved get paid into perpetuity, this is one of the many flaws with universal health care, they have you locked and boxed because the government is the only provider of health care you as a Canadian shut and wait for instructions.
But the article below is very interesting, the writer Miranda Anthistle doesn’t even attempt to be unbiased, the piece below could easily be considered propaganda. With that said, historically, the problem with the progressive type is that they’re very weak, the French revolution as an example happened because the then progressive establishment was weak.
The French revolution as is the case with most revolutions was mostly economic, people were unemployed and feeling hopeless. The people prior tolerated the lies primarily because they were able to sustain themselves, similar to Venezuela it was when things became unbearable that the revolution occured.
Canada isn’t there yet, a revolution is unlikely to happen here anytime soon or at any time at all, but what the progressives are creating is an unproductive society and this presents a far worse problem than their short-sightedness appears to comprehend.
Criminalizing the taxpayers funding the health care system isn’t wise, there have been welfare recipients and illegals abusing our health care system for years, if you want a public health care system accept the consequences, if it gets too expensive to manage, then maybe we should privatize portions of it!
You see as Russians and other countries sympathetic to Communism have learned, if you’re going to go further left, you better make sure you have a powerful and willing army, that can see a nation worth fighting for. The progressives in Canada, want to straddle the productive with taxes and regulations, have open borders, criminalize taxpayers, and train us to obey orders from politicians who love going on vacations. Authoritarian-Progressives remember that your media organization needed a bailout from an insolvent government to survive!
