Amazon is not the key to 90% of success online, but based on my reviews I won’t call Karla Marie and her ‘Fiction Profits Academy’ currently found at FictionProfitsAcademy.com a scam, but what I will say is beware of self-publishing and making money in the manner she describes, because the internet is littered with horror stories about self-publishing.
I don’t want to seem like I’m discouraging the reader, but if you’re listening to her presentation and it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. So if you’re unaware of what Karla Marie is offering at FictionProfitsAcademy she’s offering COACHING. What she offers for free is enough for you to do your own self-publishing, it’s not hard to do, but some people do need to be motivated ad understand the pitfalls associated with self-publishing.
The price for Fiction Profits Academy is $1995 and just being honest, I know people who charge more than what she charges and they offer you less. So although some may see her program as a scam, being that I’m a veteran in this space, I see things differently. With that said, I don’t want this post to seem like it’s an endorsement for FictionProfitsAcademy.com because it’s not, I’m not calling it 100% legit, but I have to call it as I see it, I’ve seen people offering a lot less and charging a lot more.
What I will say is a badly written book is a badly written book, no marketing can save or salvage it, so I’ve personally never seen self-publishing as a slam dunk profits formula. Self-Publishing is a huge market, it’s how Amazon became what it is today. Now, just being honest, I take a bit of different approach to writing books, I use the Designr eBook Publishing Technology because they give away for free what Karla Marie charges you for.
Also, I’m a freedom-loving person, I’m actually not big fan of Amazon to make money online, now don’t get me wrong I do make money with Amazon, but unlike other people, I tell people about the COSTS involved in having an Amazon-based business.
For myself Amazon is by far my worst performing solution to make money online, I make money with Amazon, but the cost to do so is also high, whereas with Designr eBook Publishing Technology my costs are a lot lower and I can publish ebooks a lot faster.
Yes there’s a learning curve for Designr eBook Publishing Technology but I’m not tied nor am I reliant on Amazon, to make money. Furthermore they help me to succeed because if they don’t, I drop them. Using Designr eBook Publishing Technology makes me the beneficiary of people who publish Kindle books with limited experience, because I know how to make Kindle books look more professional, especially in Fiction Book category.
Not to stray too far off-topic, based on my reviews, FictionProfitsAcademy.com is not a scam, I’m not calling it legit, nor am I endorsing Karla Marie, but she is offering a coaching service with very clear directions.
