Pedro Castillo and the Far-Left Socialist ‘Free Peru National Political Party’ losing ground to The Pro-Free Market Popular Force Party, Change could be coming to Latin America – June 3, 2021,
There are positives and negatives to mass migration to the United States of America. The positives are that more Hispanics are understanding Free Market capitalism, the negatives are that a lot of Hispanics in America are bringing their socialist ideals with them.
There are a lot of curious immigrants who when they move to a capitalist or free-market country, become curious to learn why countries that embrace free-market capitalism become so wealthy, once some of these immigrants learn that allowing the private sector to solve problems instead of relying on a big government to solve problems creates untold prosperity, many of these immigrants work day and night trying to figure out how to relay this message back to their countries of origin.
The internet has been a giant help in getting the freedom message to non-English speaking countries, who prior were told how to think primarily by big-government oligarchs who rebranded themselves as Socialists. We are for the people the socialists will argue, but for some strange reason, socialism fails everywhere it’s tried and it appears COVID-19 and the Peruvian Socialist response to COVID-19 has really angered a lot of Peruvians.
As the article below explains, it’s still a tight race, but I’d say that’s a win for the Force Party(Fuerza Popular) because I never thought in my lifetime that I’d see Peru even consider Freedom. If a person looks at the politics in Latin America, the socialists namely the Democratic Socialists dominate Latin American politics.
The Free Peru National Political Party is basically a Marxist Party, anyone who knows anything about the writings of José Carlos Mariátegui knows he was a Marxist and this is who the “Free Peru” based their ideology around. Now, what’s interesting about the Free Peru party is that their leader Pedro Castillo was… wait for it… a school teacher and union leader.
As many people know the socialist/Marxist tactic has always been to take over the education system, in order to socially engineer society. When humans are able to comprehend that there is more than one side to every argument, most humans will reject socialism, if you live in a Western country and wonder why UNONIZED school teachers don’t want school choice, it’s because when people have the FREEDOM to choose they usually choose FREEDOM, free markets and a small government over a Socialist, controlled market, big government system.
Now, as is the case in countries like Switzerland, Socialists have a right to exits in particular municipalities in Switzerland, they even have Wealth Taxes, but Switzerland, as many people know, doesn’t have a BIG FEDERAL government. A municipal leader with socialist ideas are fine because their stupid policies will only affect a small number of people, but when Socialists get control of the federal government that’s when an entire nation has to suffer because of a dumb president with stupid ideas.
Latin America is poor for one reason and one reason only SOCIALISM! If people forget most of Europe was poor because of Socialism, the entire concept of the European Union came as the result of failed European States. If you’re of European origin and your former currency was better used for toilet paper it’s because your political leaders embraced socialism on the FEDERAL level.
As a firm believer in freedom, I personally believe socialists and Marxists have the right to exist, where I take issue is when they exist in the Federal government because socialists have some boneheaded ideas and they will destroy your country if they take it over.
Keiko Fujimori of the Force Party went to school in the United States, which is why I’m not really a closed border person. I’m an ANTI-WELFARE STATE person, I 100% agree with Milton Freidman when he stated that you can’t have open borders and a Welfare State. But otherwise, I’m all for open borders as long as I’m legally allowed to protect myself.
I say this because, in the Spanish language, it’s very difficult to interpret Liberty, especially when so many Spanish people have been brainwashed by oligarchs into believing that socialism is the only way to bring prosperity to the people.
Rome wasn’t built in a day, but I’m glad to hear that at least some Perivans are finally considering wealth freedom, and prosperity instead of socialism, security, and poverty! Now, the article I point to below for obvious reasons attempts to frame the narrative from a Leftist perspective. Western Media’s worst nightmare is for the third world to reject socialism because they’d be out of a job. People forget that media in general is based on a narrative, not a truth.
The narrative the media must sell to people in poverty is that socialist oligarchs are the only way, you have to remember that freedom entails allowing people to think for themselves, if that ever happens, becoming a journalist or a media outlet becomes more difficult. One thing people forget about free markets are bankruptcies and boycotts, the reason media outlets provide narratives is that in a free market if a media outlet or journalist is peddling junk they’ll go bankrupt. So if you ever wonder why media outlets cater to the Left agenda, the simple answer is they’re protecting their profit margins.
