For those of us who care to know what’s REALLY going on, we can clearly see an attempt by the believers in Global Socialism to take their globalist agenda to its apex. When you’re talking about Solar Panels, wind turbines, and Biomass, we can imagine that these alternative fuels can work in CONJUNCTION with fossil fuels but in regards to REPLACING fossil fuels, humanity isn’t there yet, but ideologically, people who have never studied the topic of energy want to project their IDEALS onto the marketplace and therefore the Globalists amongst us, ensuring they don’t lose control over the narrative is more than willing to destroy the world as we know it, in the hopes they get a firm stranglehold on REDEFINING Liberty, Freedom and the pursuit of PROPERTY.
The climate change alarmists/Environmental Socialists have put a lot of trust and faith in Left Wing politicians, and this happened primarily because a lot of people have replaced Religion with BIG GOVERNMENT. I’m still amazed when I see Christians as an example fighting for ABORTION rights. If the Democrats in the United States win in the 2022 mid-terms, it could be argued that their win revolved around the ABORTION rights issue.

Why am I writing about the United States in an article that revolves around the stupidity of the European Union? Because Environmental Socialism, also known as Climate Change Alarmism, dominates Germany to the point that Germans want NOTHING to do with Nuclear Power. Ignore Germany if you want to, but without Germany, the EU is NOTHING. The U.K already left the EU, Of course, the U.K also depends on Russian Gas, but nations of Germanic origin ECONOMICALLY are still in better positions than most Latin countries in the EU.
Whether you’re talking about Italy, Greece, France, or Spain, without the EU, these countries would have WORTHLESS currencies, meaning that the COST to service their public debts while their reliance on foreign energy grows would have a DEVASTATING effect on their respective economies, in the event the EU is dissolved. With that said, during the period in which I’m writing this, the European Union can right the ship, but is there a desire to do so?

I don’t have an answer to that question, but if there is a desire to minimize the globalist influence on global affairs, Russia could soon find itself in a very bad position economically. I’ve been writing about OPEC for some time now, and my position has always been that a DIVERSIFIED energy economy would destroy OPEC. Unfortunately, Socialists like to use the force of government to CORNER markets.
Second, only to Communism, Socialism is one of the GREEDIEST economic systems on the planet, capitalism on the surface appears greed-driven, but capitalism it’s actually INNOVATION driven because in order to monopolize a market in capitalism, you have to fulfill a DEMAND that nobody else has INFRASTRUCTURE to compete in.
As an example, Amazon.com, Inc. has a monopoly because it found a niche that no other company, including Walmart, even thought about. I can order something online at Amazon, and it, in some instances, will have it delivered to my house the following day; that’s mind-boggling, and because Amazon was able to MEET consumer demand before anyone could even think of it, Amazon in the year 2022 enjoys a monopoly, socialist monopoles are NOTHING like this, Socialist monopolies are attained via government or ruling class DECREES.

The Environmental socialists in Western Nations using the FORCE of government have, for the most part, REGULATED DOMESTIC oil, gas, and nuclear production out of existence. The goal of the Environmental Socialists is to give Solar Panels, Wind Turbines, and Biomass companies a MONOPOLY in the energy marketplace because the Climate Change Alarmists imagine that if they don’t give what they call renewable energies a monopoly in the marketplace, the world is going to end by “INSERT DATE HERE”. Some of us are old enough to remember an American preacher, political activist, and mass murderer Jim Jones who convinced a large group of people to commit suicide in the South American country of Guyana.
People tend to forget that Jim Jones, before killing all of those people, won the Martin Luther King Jr. Humanitarian Award. At the time, Jim Jones and his idea were popular; Jim Jones was part of what we call the WOKE crowd in the 1970s; he was, of course, a LUNATIC who imagined the world was going to end at a specific date, and he managed to convince others of the same thing.
Crazy people tend to DOUBLE DOWN on their stupid ideas; when people buy into an idea or an ideal, they’ll often take their belief to the GRAVE. As an investor, sometimes I make BAD BETS, but when I make a bad bet, I accept that hey, that investment of time and money I made was a dumb idea, and so I change, but not everyone agrees with me on that, some people NEVER imagine they make ANY mistakes, some people imagine their ideas to PURE and imagine their ideals come from a DEVINE power, and these people in the face of their own obliteration will DOUBLE DOWN on their bad ideas.
For most common sense people, it’s hard to imagine that Germans or people for the U.K could be this stupid, but historically, this type of human behavior is quite normal; imagine convincing a person in 2022 that Social Security is BANKRUPT😂.
Any person relying on social security to survive will likely look at you like you’re the DEVIL reincarnated; some humans like living in their own BUBBLE, and I mean, life is good at the moment, right? So what gas prices are going up, so what my standard of living is declining? I’m accepting this punishment because if I don’t, mother earth will be DESTROYED!(I’m thinking as I’d imagine a climate change alarmist would think)
At the moment, I’m a spectator; I have NO IDEA what’s going to happen moving forward; what I will say as a Canadian is that I don’t rule out Europeans doubling down on climate change alarmism; they might consider Nord Stream being cut as a CHALLENGE or a punishment for what we’ve done to mother earth. Over and over again, I read, watch and listen to people on the Right who don’t understand that a lot of these Left Wingers have CONVERTED their souls to Big Government.
You might not like that or want to acknowledge this happened, but that’s what it looks like to me; I listen to Leftists, and many of them, from my vantage point, sound and behave like ZOMBIES, looking for Brains to eat. What often throws those of us who practice common sense off about Leftists is their willingness to CENSOR their opposition in order for them to attain their ends, but whether we’re talking about National or Democratic Socialism, CENSORSHIP and Big GOVERNMENT monopolies are how they operate, it’s how socialists spread misery throughout the world, and it’s not something that should be taken lightly.

I’m not even sure if higher energy prices will change hearts and minds in Europe. Europeans have become accustomed to DARK AGES; up until 1999, there weren’t too many people who wanted to go to most parts of Europe, but the EU and the STRENGTH of that currency made a few more European destinations worth considering for North Americans if let’s imagine for a moment that all EU member states in the future have to operate WITHOUT the strength of Euro, now we’re talking about each EU member state having the power to DEBASE their currency to finance Big Government spending.
I bring this up because the European Central Bank(ECB) has been stuck on Zero Interest Rate Policy(ZERP) for some time now. Consumer price inflation is running RAMPANT in the Eurozone, and the ECB has been SLUGGISH to raise interest rates. As I like to point out, Consumer Price Inflation is DEFLTIONARY to the economy, and what typically happens when an economy is struggling to achieve economic growth is instead of engaging in Austerity Measures, the Federal governments will turn to the central banks to either enact some sort of liquidity for private banks to lend more or the government will basically send VOTERS free money.

Now common sense will tell you if the federal Government sends out free money that it either borrows or creates out of thin air, this will lead to a rapid devaluation of the currency, but worse than that, it will make trade deficits even worse, especially if you trying to sell the market a currency nobody wants to hoard.
I hope you start to comprehend how RELIANT the European Union is to the Euro, and currently, the Euro is at parity with the U.S dollar. At the very least, the Federal Reserve has been raising rates of late. As I like to point out, the European Union, based on my research, is HEAVILY reliant on what I call POINT OF SALE taxes. In most EU member states, their governments PUNISH YOU for consumption.
How do you grow a nation that punishes you for consuming? Regressive taxation during periods of rampant consumer price inflation sounds like a Depression when I think about it, but hey, maybe I’m wrong. What I will say is, I don’t what to think of Russia’s halting energy; in my mind, I want to imagine Russia will be punished for what it’s doing, but on the flip side, Russians have a far better grasp of how to implement SOCIALISM than do Western countries.
In the West, our society is based on VOLUNTEERISM; even though I’m a lover of Liberty, Freedom, and Property rights, I respect the rights of people who DO NOT think like me. Russians don’t imagine the world this way; Russians fully understand that FORCE works, it’s embedded into their culture,it’s embedded into their language; there’s a reason why Russians and the Chinese at times come across as ROBOTIC to us in the west, it’s because, in most Communist or former communist countries, the people are taught from an early age to obey authority.

In the West, our societies revolve around challenging orthodox thinking; Capitalism, as Peter Schiff taught me, is supposed to be a RUGGED ideal. I have to sell you on it, not by force but via volunteerism. I have to convince you without using force that Liberty, Freedom, and the pursuit of property are WAY better than the alternative of Big Government.
Big Government can also be labeled a ruling class that makes all the decisions for humanity, as you’ll notice with these environmental socialists/climate change alarmists all over the world, they’re all willing to give up their liberties, freedoms and property to the government in exchange for energy monopolies controlled by entities their government deems as “renewable.”
