Ford Model E (Ford Electric Vehicle Division) Posts $5 billion loss – Modern Corporate Welfare Better Known As ESG(Environmental, social, and corporate governance) Proving To Be Very Expensive – July 31, 2023
While everyone continues to sing the praises of Elon Musk, I like to remind people that the owner of Tesla Inc. would likely be BANKRUPT had it not been for government subsidies. First and foremost, as it relates to Ford, although “The Ford Model T” existed long before Tesla’s Model 3 as an example, it will feel to the average consumer that Ford is trying to copy Tesla.
I don’t know if naming their Ford EV “Model E” was a good idea, so for me, I do think the name could have something to do with the failure of their EVs. I know some people who like Mercedes and BMW primarily because of how they brand of their cars.
Sure, in time Ford EVs can take over Tesla, but in the current here and now, their EVs have been a complete disaster, and one of the main reasons EVs are a complete disaster are the INCONVENIENCES associated with being an EV owner.
Unless you’re a person of means, chances are you’re not going to be able to plug your car into your home or apartment ECONOMICALLY. The current EV market coincides with the Environmentalist movement, and environmentalists hate Nuclear energy, natural gas, and anything they imagine is tied to fossil fuels, so as for example in Canada, they’ve grown the size of their government in exchange for making the cost of energy more expensive with a carbon tax.
Nothing about the operations of the Canadian government is EFFICIENT; it’s actually inefficient as most of the government employees have their wages tied to INFLATION, so as inflation rises in Canada, government employees get a pay raise, and one of the main contributors to high inflation in Canada is their excessive taxes on fossil fuel derived energy sources.
How this translates to the EV owner in Canada is that they will have to wait for a small rebate check from their federal government to pay back whatever debts and “benefits” they received from purchasing an EV.

Add to this that a lot of EV owners have to park their cars a distance AWAY from where they reside in order to charge their electric vehicles, and you start to grasp the inconvenience of an EV.
You do know there’s a cost to charge your EV, right? Even if you charge your EV from your home, your electric bill is going up; now why most EV owners don’t complain is that either they’re wealthy or they’re POLITICALLY active and don’t want to appear like they’ve become a “racist Conservative.”
So inefficiency is being BLENDED onto the marketplace, and I’d like to remind the reader that this isn’t the first time this has happened. When actual conservatives say they want to phase out social security and Medicare, it’s because that was NEVER supposed to be the role of government, yet, now we’re entering a period in which the world is getting more COMPLICATED, with labor becoming increasingly SCARCE, more people likely to get sick needing medical care are seeking to retire.
Can you see the disaster looming? I also like to point out that mass migration is not what people think, in America as an example Hispanics are actually receiving more WELFARE per capita than Black Americans, so although a lot of Hispanics are doing jobs Americans don’t want to do, they’re still as a group CONSUMING more in government benefits than they’re producing.
I assume Justin Trudeau and Joe Biden imagine unleashing mass migration on their citizens will solve the labor problems, but anyone who travels or tries to do business in foreign nations knows that a lot of the people in the third world are LAZY; I even see a lot of OBESE people in so-called third world nations.
How this ties to ESG and Ford is that these government LEVERS to FORCE consumers to behave in a manner that aligns with the ESG agenda, which is failing the way you’d expect any fascist or national socialist idea to fail.
When Hitler rose to power, he sold the people on any idea of FORCED Nationalism; if you don’t align yourself with the Public-Private Partnership, the government will DESTROY your life, and if you happen to look or talk in a manner that we PROGRESSIVE Nazis like, your life will be destroyed.
If you’re Ford, you can’t even speak up against ESG; otherwise, the Nazi-ESG press will make an example of you. Instead of talking, all Ford can do is POST their profits, which were +$2 Billion but also negative $5 Billion because NOBODY wants their EVs.
Some people dive into EVs without knowing the particulars; however, many consumers do their research before making their purchase. If you do your research prior to purchasing an EV, you’ll start to comprehend how INCONVENIENT these explosive Lithium powered vehicles are.
More and more people are concerned an electric vehicle might burn down their house, if you charge an electric bike incorrectly, it will start a fire, the same is true with an EV. If you power your home or if you have a gas stove as an example, mixing that with an EV vehicle is asking for trouble because, unlike a gas-powered combustible engine which if it starts a fire is easier to put out, an EV fire, especially one from a car could burn for WEEKS.
The press has been trying to keep these stories away from consumers because the selling point for EVs was the ability to charge your car from the COMFORT of your home for far less money than it would cost you to go to a gas station and pay fluctuating market gas prices.
Well, now that more and more people are comprehending the good, the bad, and the ugly of EVs, consumers are reacting. Most people have to go into DEBT to purchase any car, so if I’m going into debt to make a purchase, I don’t want to make a purchase that will COMPLICATE my life.
Now Toyota has already made its position on EVs clear, Toyota is wisely sticking with its HYBRID models, which is what I’ve always thought to be the more realistic option. It’s not to say that EVs aren’t the future, the problem is that they haven’t arrived yet and we should stop pretending!
