Justin Trudeau Continues To Destroy The Canadian Economy: Quebec’s Supply Management Cartel Sees Trudeau’s Carbon Tax Initiatives Eating Away Their Profits – March 15, 2024
If it wasn’t for True North and Rebel News, you wouldn’t even know there was a Farmer Protest happening in Canada, which is strange because Canada has a state-run media broadcaster that I assumed was a voice for the voiceless?
Anyway, the Union of Agricultural Producers (UPA) – (L’Union des Producteurs Agricoles) which is part of the Quebec branch of the Canadian supply management cartel in Canada (Canadian Dairy Commission (CDC)) which works to control the PRICES Canadian consumers pay for Dairy and poultry.
These price control mechanisms that the UPA enjoyed prior to Justin Trudeau (The current Prime minister of Canada) have been interrupted by the most incompetent, corrupt Canadian Politician in the history of the nation.
Prior to Justin Trudeau, Canada had a lot of price control mechanisms in place that required federal leaders, who were responsible legislators. Justin Trudeau, by far, has the lowest economic IQ for any PM in the history of Canada, and his extremely low IQ allows him to imagine that economies fix themselves.
Because of how supply management is structured in Canada, the UPA is targeting the Provincial government. However, the provincial government, which is a perpetual “HAVE NOT” province, destroyed its ability to dole out subsidies a long time ago.
Sadly, since Trudeau became Prime Minister, I no longer trust government data, which is still signaling that Canada is NOT in a recession when all the evidence suggests that we are.
Just because consumer prices are going up doesn’t mean people are getting wealthier, in fact the UPA which exists because of PRICE CONTROLS, is making it known that their COSTS are rising more than their revenue.
If you know anything about supply management, the entire concept revolves around stable PROFITABILITY for the producers, well Justin Trudeau, has destroyed that model and that’s why I’ve been writing for years now that the domestic value of the Canadian dollar is going to match these ridiculously high HOUSING and rent PRICES.
Housing market prices are usually reflective of FISCAL spending, and because austerity measures aren’t on the table in Canada, what we’re seeing now is a preview of what’s in store for the DOMESTIC value of the Canadian dollar.
The entire existence of labor unions revolve around PRICE CONTROLS, and what Trudeau is doing has been done by SOCIALISTS in prior eras, you can pour Quebec price controlled maple syrup on shit and call it pancakes all you want, it’s still shit.
Environmental socialism, using “carbon taxes” and “carbon pricing” as its cover, is still SOCIALISM. Because Canada borders with the greatest economy on earth, Canada never had to abandon it’s PRIOR socialist policies; however, Justin Trudeau from a finance and basic economics perspective is mentally retarded, at least Joe Biden, who I’d argue is similarly as stupid as Trudeau, is smart enough to spend most of his time on vacation.
The problem Canada has is that Justin Trudeau comes to work, and every time he shows up for work, something goes wrong. Conservatives keep requesting Justin stop going on vacation, I wish Justin Trudeau would stay on vacation and do NOTHING, because he’s someone that should have been fired in 2018.
Regarding the Union of Agricultural Producers (UPA) Canada has a Equalization model, so when Quebec expands it’s debt the rest of Canada pays for it, which is why I assume Canada’s mainstream media is trying to avoid talking about this story.
From my point of view, this is pathetic, and is the perfect example as to why socialists end up turning on each other, sometimes inadvertently. Most of the complexities in the economy are because of socialists, the tax code is complex because socialists, prices of domestic made things in Canada are expensive because of the socialists.
If you know anything about capitalism, what people don’t like about is price DEFLATION, FIRE SALES, discounts, Red tag events, roll backs, that’s CAPITALISM, we’d rather lower the price and give you the stuff just so we can make some capital.
Socialists want to make banks on both ends; socialists want higher prices for their labor and cheaper prices as consumers. What’s wrong with that you ask? In order to achieve this socialist pipe dream, you need PRICE CONTROLS and price controls don’t allow wages to go down past a certain threshold (think Minimum wage laws), and consumer prices aren’t allowed to go down past a certain price threshold (Supply management cartel, that keeps some food prices in Canada artificially high).
So in practice, all forms of socialism are a giant SCAM! Because Canada has so many price controls in its economy, you start to comprehend how destructive the carbon tax is to all the PRODUCING blue-collar sectors.
White collar workers, which include people in tech and people who do PAPERWORK for the government, don’t have to worry about PRODUCING ANYTHING; they don’t have PRODUCTION costs, they make up their salaries, so for people in government, they don’t think labor and production costs, they’re merely thinking about numbers.
This is why in my opinion, austerity is inevitable at this point, how long it takes Canadians to realize this is anyone’s guess, but if you think prices are coming down, or things are going to return to how they once were, you’re dreaming and I remind you that unions exist to PUSH PRICES upwards. Even during price-deflationary periods, unions will find a way to get a pay raise.
Interesting times ahead!
