President Joe Biden has repeatedly resisted any move that could risk escalating the war, but officials are reportedly examining the idea that contractors could be allowed into the war-torn country to help maintain and repair U.S. weapons systems. ‘We have not made any decisions, and any discussion of this is premature,’ one administration official told CNN.
Biden administration moves toward allowing American military contractors to deploy to Ukraine
Contractors or mercenaries can be seen as U.S. deployments; Americans can and have already gone to Ukraine to fight. Ukraine has a lot of Neo-Nazis, and there are videos of American Neo-Nazis going to fight with them. These “contractors” will obviously be well financed, likely with UNLIMITED resources, and this will be seen by Russians as a provocation and could elicit a response.
If you support this war in Ukraine, I remind you that Russia is a NUCLEAR power and hasn’t used Nukes on Ukraine, meaning that despite this war, the Russians, by their own standards, are taking a humane approach to their war on Ukraine War. I don’t like this war, I wish it would stop, but don’t be under the illusion that Russian can’t destroy Ukraine tomorrow, and couldn’t destroy America in the process.
Unlike Americans, Russians are used to living BELOW their means, if the U.S and Russia were to go to war, Russians could easily play the war of attrition game. If you’re Pro-War I expect that you’ll be on the front lines of this war.
