Trump said he would sign an order reducing prices “almost immediately” by 30% to 80%.Prescription drugs in the U.S. can cost up to 10 times more than in other countries of the same size and wealth, according to public policy think tank the Rand Corporation. The order is expected to institute a pricing model dubbed the “most favored nation” approach, in which the U.S. pays no more for drugs than the lowest prices paid by other wealthy nations.
