Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) discussed President Trump’s acceptance of gifts and business deals from Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, three Gulf countries the president is currently visiting.
This past week, the president signaled that he would be accepting a luxury plane from Qatar to be used as the new Air Force one while the Trump family is also expanding its business ventures across the Middle East in countries including Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
“His first trip is to these three countries because these are the three countries that have agreed to pay Donald Trump money,” said Sen. Murphy.
