Be careful when you see social media posting promoting “charities” scammers have learned the social media algorithms, and these fraud networks are MASSIVE. Making matters worse Canada really sucks now, the government suck, the media sucks, leadership in this country sucks. In 11 years Canadians have gotten used to incompetence and corruption, it’s normal now.
Does the video below which is circulating on social media look staged to you?
Some context the average temperature in Gaza during December (the coldest month) is between 10 °C and 20 °C, and drops a few degrees lower in January. People tend to forget the weather in Gaza in general is similar to that of a Caribbean island. But the ad I saw which appeared o show people cold, by what COULD be fire, because the person with the camera, made sure to shoot from a particular angle, was clearly targeted at Canadians.
Prior to them taking money from Justin Trudeau’s government I used to donate to World Vision. Now if you go to World Vision you’ll notice that they have a Charitable Registration Number: 119304855RR0001.

World Vision Canada frequently partners with the Government of Canada to match private, individual donations for international emergencies, often through the Humanitarian Coalition. These initiatives, such as for Gaza (2023) or East Africa hunger crises (2023), double or triple the impact of donations during specific, limited timeframes.
When you pay your taxes, did you tell the government that you wanted to partner with World Vision?
Here’s the problem I have with GivingHands.ca, currently at the bottom of their webpage it states the following:
ACCREDITATION
This Registered Not-for-profit organisation in Canada and operated based on Canada Not-for-profit Corporations ActCRA program account number: 1660789-6
Now, if you run a legit business in Canada, you’d know that’s not a legitimate CRA number.
A CRA program account number is a 15-character identifier for specific business activities, consisting of your 9-digit Business Number (BN), a 2-letter program code (e.g., RT for GST/HST, RP for Payroll), and a 4-digit reference number.
It is required for collecting GST/HST, payroll deductions, or importing/exporting.
So is GivingHands.ca a Scam? It sure looks like one. I wouldn’t give them my money. As you can clearly see “16 60 78 9-6“ is an 8 digit number. So this looks like a scam to me.
If you know anything about “charities” most of them especially now are SCAMS including many of the registered ones. I’m not telling you what to do with your money, but what I am saying is you’d be wise to contact the government and ask them if GivingHands.ca is a legitimate charity or if it’s a scam, because for me it has all the bells and whistles of being a complete fraud.
