A win for the European Union, American Manufacturers will continue to get Taxed in the EuroZone and America will ease tariffs on European Made Goods – October 30, 2021

A win for the European Union, American Manufacturers will continue to get Taxed in the EuroZone, and America will ease tariffs on European Made Goods – October 30, 2021

A lot of Americans didn’t understand Trump’s tariff on Europe and Canada, primarily because they’re not in the business of manufacturing, but if you do any import, export business, you’d comprehend where Trump was coming from. Anyway Biden recently dropped the tariffs, at least publically he did and I’m not entirely sure what the reaction will be, because the supply chains in America are broken anyway, so it will be a spectacle watch in the coming few months, to see if Bidens “Build Back Better” will be a success or total failure.

One thing is for certain if California isn’t careful it might lose its monopoly on ports, this law that forces contractors and gig workers to be employees might send truckers to Florida, but worse than that, is if the Florida parts are proven to be as efficient as Ron DeSantis claims, to avoid complications companies might accept the higher fuel costs and head and send their boats to Florida, which for the Califonia economy equates to much higher prices because one of the reasons prices haven’t skyrocketed higher than they are now in California is because of their ports.

In Canada, I often jokingly write that a monkey could be in charge of British Columbia, and it should have a solvent economy. In a market economy having access to the Pacific ocean is a gift from the gods. Russia, Japan, China Thailand, South Korea you can even throw Australia in there, how do you mess that up? One of the reasons coastal States often embrace Left-wing politics is because they’re NOT landlocked, when you’re landlocked things are different, political decisions have more SERIOUS consequences, a boat from Asia can’t find its way to shores, imported goods have to be driven, or flown to their destinations, so there’s an incentive for landlocked regions like Switzerland, Utah, Nevada, or Alberta Canada as an example to measure the damaging effects Left Wing politics might have on their country or State-this is usually why certain regions of the world hate Left Wing politics, it’s a survival thing, once you understand market economics.

On the consumption side of the debate, people will assume that the easing of tariffs will lead to lower prices? but I don’t see how if these systematic supply shortage problems accelerate? Higher energy prices are higher energy prices and if it costs more to pay people to work, that cost has to be factored in also. Making matters worse, with higher energy costs for American manufacturers along with tariffs the EU will be allowed to REIMPOSE on U.S manufacturers this can also turn out to be a loss for U.S companies.

From my standpoint even if you disagreed with Trump’s tariffs, Bidens increased taxes on U.S companies will be just as bad if not far worse for the U.S economy.
