According to a Canadian Far-Left-Wing Poll: Left-Wing Canadians Outraged Over Gaza. Atheism, Radical Islam, and Socialism Rise in Influence – August 7, 2025

The Bible, Wealth, and Spiritual Awareness

Too often, people forget that the Bible is a book rooted in abundance and wisdom—not a step-by-step guide to financial wealth, but a divine record that teaches generations how to avoid past mistakes. Through the lens of biblical history, particularly the stories of Israel, we see that true wealth goes beyond money. It includes spiritual discernment, cultural strength, and generational knowledge.

Jewish people have historically been misunderstood and, in many cases, hated—not because they are perfect, but because their connection to Scripture often aligns with success, community resilience, and a unique cultural energy rooted in the Hebrew Bible. This spiritual abundance is what many outside the faith struggle to understand.

As Christians—especially Protestants who embrace a direct relationship with God without centralized power structures—we connect with God by reading Scripture often. Through frequent reflection, we begin to discern the devil in the details—patterns, warnings, and wisdom meant to guide humanity through complex times.

Moses, Egypt, and the Modern Parallels

The story of Moses, for example, is more than ancient history. It’s a spiritual and economic parable with present-day relevance. Moses, though Hebrew by birth, bore an Egyptian name and was raised within the elite Egyptian system. Why would God choose someone raised by the enemy to lead His people out of bondage?

To understand that, one must first know the story of Joseph, who rose to power in Egypt through his God-given ability to interpret dreams. His relationship with Pharaoh allowed Hebrews to settle in Egypt. But as generations passed and memories faded, a new Pharaoh emerged—one who did not know Joseph and saw the growing Hebrew population as a threat.

Thus began the Hebrew enslavement in Egypt. This mirrors how cultural memory fades over time, and how the values of hard work and faith can be misused by corrupt governments when populations grow complacent or uninformed.

Moses had to be trained in Egypt’s system in order to challenge it. His mission wasn’t just to free the Hebrews—it was to reveal God’s authority over man-made power structures. Egypt worshipped idols and attributed its prosperity to them, just as many modern governments now idolize ideologies like secularism, radical environmentalism, or state control, rather than divine providence or individual freedom.

The Danger of False Gods: Then and Now

Socialists and secularists often claim they hold the key to utopia—but these are false gods. Just like ancient Egypt, many modern societies place their faith in man-made systems. Atheists and even many self-proclaimed Christians fall into the trap of constructing a version of God that fits their politics, feelings, or peer approval.

Unfortunately, some Christians are more tyrannical than non-believers because they don’t know the Word of God, they only know their interpretation of it. This is where left-wing ideology gains strength. In places like Canada, where popular opinion can override biblical truth, democracy often devolves into demagoguery.

Take the United Nations—ostensibly democratic, yet constantly hostile toward Israel, a tiny democracy among a sea of authoritarian states. When majority rule becomes a weapon against truth and minority values, we are no longer free.

The Cost of Censorship and the Loss of Christian Liberty

Censorship—whether by gun or by policy—is always a threat to Christian civilization. When Christians are slaughtered or silenced around the world, we must call it what it is: religious persecution. Atheists who prize “freedom of belief” must understand that if there’s no God, there’s no moral foundation for natural law—only man-made rules enforced by whoever holds power.

In atheistic, Islamic, or socialist regimes, dissent is not tolerated. In places like Russia, China, or theocratic states, human rights are subservient to the state. LGBT people, religious minorities, and political dissidents all suffer under centralized regimes. Even Thailand, a relatively tolerant nation, is governed by a constitutional monarchy with strict laws that preserve hierarchy.

If Westerners tear down the Christian framework that made their freedoms possible, they may soon discover what life under state-controlled secularism really looks like—and it won’t be pretty.

The Canadian Shift: Gaza Conflict and the Erosion of Biblical Values

Recent polling by the Angus Reid Institute, widely considered a left-leaning think tank, shows a dramatic shift in public opinion in Canada regarding the Israel-Gaza conflict:

  • 37% of Canadians now express sympathy for Palestinians (up from 18% in November 2023).
  • Only 19% express sympathy for Israelis, while 27% support both sides equally.
  • 62% believe Israel’s military response has been “excessive.”
  • 52% believe genocide is occurring in Gaza (up from 41% in February).
  • 64% call the situation a “moral outrage,” rising to 70% among seniors (55+).

This polling reveals growing moral confusion driven by media narratives, anti-Israel bias at the UN, and radical secular ideologies spreading throughout Canadian society. The poll also shows a stark political divide:

  • Most Liberal, NDP, and Bloc supporters believe Israel is committing genocide.
  • 51% of Conservative voters reject that view.

On Aid and Accusations

The humanitarian situation in Gaza is also polarizing Canadian opinion:

  • 61% believe Israel is blocking aid.
  • 46% believe Hamas is stealing aid meant for civilians.

Despite accusations by Israel that Hamas is diverting resources, major aid groups and even President Trump have stated there is widespread suffering in Gaza. However, it is also true that Hamas started the war with the October 7, 2023 massacre that killed 1,200 Israelis and kidnapped scores of civilians.

Israel’s military response has killed over 60,000, according to figures from Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry. The goal, Israel says, is to eliminate Hamas and recover the hostages. But public support is splintering, and hostage families are increasingly critical of the ongoing war strategy.

Canada’s Public Aligns with Prime Minister Mark Carney

  • 61% support Carney’s plan to recognize a Palestinian state.
  • 62% oppose caving to U.S. pressure on that position.
  • 54% want Canada to limit arms exports to Israel.

According to Professor Adam Chapnick, the public and the Prime Minister are “almost perfectly aligned”—echoing past foreign policy moments like Canada’s refusal to join the Iraq War in 2003.

Canadians Are Losing Hope in Peace

A Leger poll conducted June 20–22 shows that 62% of Canadians believe peace is not possible while Hamas remains active. However, among Canadians aged 18–24, 53% remain optimistic, showing that younger generations may still believe in peaceful solutions—even if they lack historical context.

Final Thoughts: Christians, Stand Firm in Your Culture

Christians are not called to be silent. We are called to be wise, loving, and vocal defenders of truth and liberty. The Bible warns us that we will face persecution, and we must be prepared to resist tyranny in every form—spiritual, political, and cultural.

Christianity is not about materialism. It is about freedom, property rights, truth, and redemption through Christ. The most valuable “property” we own is our ability to spread the Gospel without interference. That’s why censorship is a spiritual and civil threat.

Let’s remember: Christ did not rebuke Simon Peter for drawing his sword to defend Him—He simply reminded him of the bigger mission. Being peaceful doesn’t mean being weak. Being Christian does not mean being naïve.

We are a minority on Earth, and we are called to be light in a dark world. We must defend free speech, religious liberty, and biblical truth, even when the world turns against us.

I choose Yeshua, Jesus Christ. Consider making Him your Lord and Savior today—and stand with those who stand for freedom.
