All Property Belongs to God: Avoid Foreign Entanglements Tyrannical President of France Emmanuel Macron Declares Intention to Recognize Palestinian State – July 24, 2025

Posted on July 24, 2025 by RichInWriters

French President Emmanuel Macron announced via social media that France will formally recognize the State of Palestine. The declaration, to be made official at the United Nations General Assembly this September, aligns with France’s stated commitment to peace in the Middle East. However, this move is not without controversy—both internationally and within France itself.

“True to its historic commitment to a just and lasting peace in the Middle East, I have decided that France will recognize the State of Palestine,” Macron wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

“The urgency today is to end the war in Gaza and to provide aid to the civilian population. Peace is possible.”

Macron also emphasized the need for a ceasefire, humanitarian aid, the release of hostages, and the demilitarization of Hamas. He argued that a viable Palestinian state—under conditions of demilitarization and formal recognition of Israel—would contribute to the long-term security of the region.

But is this France’s fight to take on? Or is it yet another example of a nation overreaching its mandate while failing to fix problems at home?

France’s Internal Crisis: Demographics, Decline, and Distraction

France is a nation in demographic and cultural transition. With an estimated 9 million Muslims and a total population of 68 million, projections suggest that Islam will likely become the dominant religion in France within the next few decades. By contrast, France’s Jewish population numbers around 500,000. In a democratic system, these demographic shifts influence political calculations—especially when election cycles and international diplomacy intersect.

Some former French colonies in Africa have already distanced themselves from France, aligning instead with nations like Russia. Meanwhile, the French language is in decline globally. Unlike Spanish—which continues to grow due to Latin America and Mexico—or Arabic, which has rising global influence, French is at risk of becoming economically and diplomatically obsolete.

Instead of strengthening its domestic resilience, France appears increasingly entangled in external conflicts. Macron’s declaration seems more rooted in political maneuvering than in measured diplomacy. The truth is, France’s power and credibility are waning, and symbolic gestures on the world stage will not restore it.

International Reactions: Accusations of Rewarding Terror

Macron’s statement drew swift condemnation from Israeli officials and Jewish organizations:

  • The Yesha Council called on Israel to immediately apply sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.
  • Avigdor Lieberman, leader of Yisrael Beytenu, said recognition of Palestine rewards terrorism.
  • Justice Minister Yariv Levin called Macron’s move “a black mark on France’s history.”
  • Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett described it as a “moral collapse” that emboldens Islamist extremists.

These leaders argue that recognizing a Palestinian state under current circumstances encourages further violence, not peace.

Christianity, Property, and the Dangers of Secular Overreach

As a Christian, my position is clear: Stay out of foreign entanglements. Scripture teaches us that all property belongs to God—not to man, governments, or military alliances. When we attempt to intervene in conflicts that stretch back generations—without divine guidance or moral clarity—we risk escalating conflict, not resolving it.

Israel, like any nation, must be held accountable by God. If Israel commits injustice, it will answer to Him. If it expands its territory and is found guilty of wrongdoing, it is God—not France—who will deal with it. The same applies to Iran, Palestine, or any other nation.

The issue with secular governments is they attempt to play the role of divine mediator without the wisdom, humility, or authority to do so. Christian nations that drift from God invariably become more tyrannical. But here’s the warning for France: Islamist regimes are far more efficient at authoritarianism. Unlike Christian volunteerism, which allows space for repentance and grace, Sharia Law is systemic and unyielding.

A Crisis of Priorities

While Macron involves himself in Middle Eastern diplomacy, France remains beset by internal challenges: cultural divisions, economic stagnation, declining global relevance, and demographic upheaval. Instead of confronting these issues, the French leadership is using international activism as a distraction.

This approach reflects a broader trend: Secular leaders, lacking spiritual grounding, attempt to assert global influence without first securing domestic order or honoring divine principles.

Let God Be the Judge

We must resist the urge to play God in global affairs. As believers, we recognize that only God can finish the wars that man begins. When Israel was enslaved in Egypt, God delivered them. When Christ came into the world, He fulfilled His mission—to redeem and restore those who believe.

If Israel sins, Israel will answer to God. If Hamas oppresses its own people, that too will be judged. We are not omniscient. We do not know the heart of every Palestinian or Israeli. We do not know whether all Gazans support Hamas. But God does, and God will judge rightly.

Final Reflection

Nations should be cautious about taking sides in deeply rooted spiritual and territorial conflicts. Political power is fleeting. Only the Kingdom of God endures. France—and all Western nations—should focus inward: restore their faith, protect their people, and honor the God who created heaven and earth.

Stop meddling. Stop posturing. Return to God.

“Consider making Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior today.”
In Him, we find truth, justice, and peace—not through secular declarations or diplomatic recognitions, but through faith, repentance, and obedience to God’s Word.
