The basis for the Internal Revenue Service endorsing Kamala Harris appears to revolve around what they consider to be workers rights. Personally I think PUBLIC SECTOR labor unions should be illegal, because their “revenue” is coming from the PRIVATE sector, and the tax payers should have a say in how much money they’re going to pay their PUBLIC sector workers, or even if they want these public “servants”.
Being that the Federal Reserve has for the most part been a success, I don’t even see the need for tax collection. The United States is over 35 TRILLION dollars in debt, and one could argue this is because taxes are too high, which contributes to the creation of the IRS, which fuels IRS employees wanting MORE MONEY.
You might imagine that without higher taxes, the United States couldn’t function, well if that’s your mentality, you’re looking at things ASS-BACKWARDS, when you’re NOT being taxed, if you’re a person of COMMONSENSE, that’s when you want to DEFEND your country, all the money you’re giving away for income taxes, sales taxes tariffs etc. if that money was in your pocket, you’d likely want to IMPROVE your standard of living.
Laws are still laws, just because taxes are ZERO, doesn’t mean there won’t be any laws or law enforcement, the same “Progressive” ideals you have with higher taxes, would exist in environment with NO TAXES, the only difference is you wouldn’t be forced to finance the stupid ideas of others.
A lot of people conflate taxes with LAWS, a lot of Americans DIED fighting for the country without being financially compensated, Black Americans for example built the nation WITHOUT compensation for slavery. The same America you see today would be much better had it not been for taxes, all taxes are, are wealth redistribution schemes, don’t confuse higher taxes with better governance or LAW Enforcement.
Good, God fearing, LAW-ABIDING people will behave the same way in NON-TAXION environment, the only difference with a tax free country, is that CRIMINALS will no longer be FINANCED for their bad behavior by tax-payers.
Even if you for example believe in catch-and-release, or rights for illegal aliens, the main difference in tax-free society would be that tax-payers wouldn’t be FIANNCING criminal behavior, meaning every time a criminal was released, they’d have to start from the BOTTOM, as opposed be getting preferential in many instances FINANCIAL treatment from the tax-payers.
The National Treasury Employees Union has endorsed Kamala Harris for President of the United States.
NTEU National President Doreen Greenwald announced the decision after extensive research into the candidates’ records regarding the federal workforce, and consultation with NTEU members and chapter leaders across the country.
“When it comes to treating federal employees with respect, valuing their service and investing in their work, Kamala Harris is the clear choice,” Greenwald said. “She shares our values and our commitment to making sure that the federal government works for all Americans. She has been a strong advocate for the issues that matter most to federal employees: fair pay, paid family leave, adequate agency funding and staffing, and robust collective bargaining rights.”
Harris’ role as vice president in one of the most pro-labor administrations in history is another major factor in the endorsement decision. Vice President Harris personally led the administration’s efforts to expand workers’ rights as Chair of the White House Task Force on Worker Organizing and Empowerment, which leveled the playing field for federal employee unions and improved organizing efforts. Working with Congress, the administration also delivered agency budgets that provide federal employees with additional staffing and resources, including significant new investments to rebuild the IRS under the Inflation Reduction Act.
