Anthony Pompliano is the best Cheerleader and Salesperson for Bitcoin. If Bitcoin had an ambassador @APompliano would be it! – May 3, 2021,
There have been several instances in which Anthony Pompliano has sold me on the concept of bitcoin and the reason for this is because Anthony Pompliano is less emotional and more fact-based. I follow quite a few cheerleaders of Bitcoin and what tends to annoy me about most of them is their lack of confidence in Bitcoin.
Most cheerleaders of Bitcoin can’t fight off the back foot, you’ll notice they’ll start to get emotional which is extremely annoying from an investors perspective because it then almost mirrors having a conversation with a Leftist who will scream “You’re a racist” or “You’re a climate change denier” worthy of death because you dare to challenge their brainwashing.
Anthony Pompliano on the other hand fights for Bitcoin in the manner I like, he pushes back with fact-back analysis which at times could be uncomfortable to listen to if you’re like me and skeptical of Bitcoin. Just being honest, what bothers me about Bitcoin is that it’s introducing the world to a centralized digital currency.
I personally believing ending Bitcoin as a viable currency alternative becomes easier the higher the price goes. I’ve often written about “point of sale” purchases with bitcoin and how it will be easy for Governments to complicate a business person’s tax situation because of the ever-rising price of Bitcoin. As a Canadian, U.S denominated dollars, push my income bracket up and it’s one of the reasons I spend a large chunk of my income on accountants and tax professionals because I don’t want to unintentionally break any tax laws.
If the governments go in the direction of digital currencies, I can already see what’s going to happen to Bitcoin, furthermore, we have the climate change socialist who may even go as far as to claim that clean energy-derived Bitcoins are still contributing to pollution. If clean nuclear energy can be demonized, skies the limit for people who feel like they’re being victimized by the power structure.
All that aside, I enjoy listening to Anthony Pompliano, I’m personally anti-legal tender laws, it would be okay with me if tobacco could be a currency or even laundry detergent for that matter. Taxation is theft, this idea, that the government can spend your labour better than you can is arrogance to the highest degree, however, humans who feel like life has punished them somehow and would like to take economic revenge, find hope in federally topheavy democratic governments. Big Federal governments provide angry people with a means to justify theft.
Without government intervention and near-zero percent interest rates, I don’t see much value in Bitcoin, but if near zero percent interest rates and even a centralized digital dollar become the norm, I do believe Bitcoin can reach a million, with that said, I think government regulations will make Bitcoin inefficient for the poor the higher the Bitcoin price gets.
This is why I wrote about Anthony Pompliano being able to fight off the back foot because once the Gestapo army comes looking for, there will be snitches everywhere, and being that Bitcoin is corporate and there will be people and entities missing out, it won’t matter what your righteous beliefs are about Bitcoin, the real greed shows up when the power structure campaigns against you.
Interesting times ahead!
