asswaged meaning
Spelled “Asswaged” is now an obsolete variant of assuage. The meaning is the same, but apparently, the “leaders” of the English language preferred to change the spelling to “assuage.”
The meaning of assuage is to make (an unpleasant feeling) less intense.
Genesis 8:1
King James Version
8 And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters assuaged;
Some of the older Bibles have “assuage” spelled “asswaged.” I came across it today, in one of my older bibles.
It’s important to remember that Ancient Hebrew is God’s language, whereas English is a derivative of ancient writings. Some English words weren’t even conceived of until the Old Testament of the Bible was translated into English.
One of the reasons the religious parts of Christianity are so centralized is because the Book of Life can be interpreted differently based on your relationship with God. It’s not to say one person’s interpretation is right or wrong; it’s that you should read the Bible for yourself before accepting or rejecting someone else’s interpretation of it.
The Bible is NOT a boring book; it’s a book of life and abundance; however, similar to socialists, who want to RULE over you, religious figures seek to rule over you into perpetuity, and therefore, they’d prefer you accept their interpretation of the Bible.
This a reminder that up until Martin Luther, the elites didn’t want commoners to read the bible; during the era of racism, the slave masters didn’t want the slaves or the indentured slave white class to read the bible because they all knew the power of the word of God.
In this era, we’re bombarded with entertainment and other stimulants, so most people see the Bible as this ancient book, not worth reading, but if you’re smart, this is time to familiarize yourself with God’s word and pray that when you do this, that your relationship with God will grow stronger.
If you’re a Christian, you should consider reading the bible for yourself instead of allowing others to interpret the Bible for you. You’ll attract a lot more love, wealth and overall abundance into your life when you read the bible for yourself; it’s often called the book of LIFE for a reason.
