Beauce Quebec gained NOTHING voting for Richard Lehoux – Andrew Scheer lost then disappeared and Maxime Bernier Continued the Fight – Justin Trudeau’s Open Borders Plan is bad for Quebec – August 29, 2021,
So if given a choice between Erin O’Toole and Justin Trudeau, obviously most will choose Erin O’Toole, I have yet to hear Erin O’Toole say anything about shrink the welfare state? furthermore, Erin O’Toole has claimed that he will protect Canadians freedom of speech, but I don’t exactly trust him, I see the same thirst for power in Erin’s eyes that I see in Trudeau’s eyes, the only difference being that if Erin goes too far-Left he risks losing his Party, especially if Maxime Bernier is in The House of Commons.
To date, Pierre Poilievre is still more popular ONLINE than Erin O’Toole, but Pierre Poilievre can run into some serious problems if Erin O’Toole is the Prime Minister and there exists MP Maxime Bernier. There are several instances in which Pierre Poilievre could be put into a box because of Erin O’Toole’s centrist beliefs, furthermore, PM Erin O’Toole might fuel the growth of the People’s Party of Canada.
One of the main reasons Leftism has grown in Canada is because Canada has 4 Leftist political Parties, meaning vote splitting has benefitted Leftist politicians. If the Bloc, The NDP, and Greens were all Liberals, some might think this would equate to a more powerful Liberal Party brand, but maybe it wouldn’t, because the reason vote-splitting worked out, was because voters didn’t like the direction the Liberals were taking Canada.
Had the Reform Party not given up so early, Canadian politics would probably look different today, but often is the case with Conservatives is they’re unwilling to run the marathon or if they run the marathon as is this case with the Libertarian Party, they’ll often do so with a half a heart. Leftists have more to gain by wealth redistribution, Provincial Welfare, Universal health care, these UBI programs are fixtures in the minds of many Canadians primarily because Conservative voices like Erin O’Toole want to win elections at any cost.
This is all well and good, but it’s created the Lib-Con monopoly that will eventually destroy this nation. In Australia, Scott Morrison and his Liberal Party have gone full-blown authoritarian why? I’ll argue why not, Australians have been consuming Leftist ideology for decades without pushback.
I always hear all of these old people saying ” gee, I wonder why all of these young people love the welfare state so much” it’s because Conservatives never pushed back, decades and decades of Conservative capitulating to Leftist ideals have consequences, children learn from their parents and if their parents are big-government loving pushovers, the children will often mirror the actions of their parents.
I personally suspect Erin O’Toole wins a minority government, but even if Justin Trudeau wins, the worst-case scenario for freedom lovers is if Maxime Bernier is not a member of parliament, the reality of the situation is that the only strong conservative voice in Parliament is Pierre Poilievre, who unfortunately takes his marching orders from Erin O’Toole.
Oddly enough Pierre Poilievre would probably be the strongest independent MP in Canadian history if he chooses that direction. But Pierre Poilievre is strategic and his current mission appears to be getting rid of Justin Trudeau. Based on the actions of Erin O’Toole, if Justin Trudeau is gone, the Liberal Party no longer has a strong candidate, meaning that the political landscape widens, which serves Maxime Bernier and Beauce in the long term.
What Pierre Poilievre has done is he’s educated Canadians online about sound economic principles, if the house of commons becomes a place in which more Canadians are educated about the economics of our great nation, it prevents future tyrants from propagandizing their authoritarian belief systems.
Stephen Harper did Canadians a disservice by not only appointing a lot of Liberal Judges, but he also didn’t share much of what he knew about sound economics, in fears it might cost him an election, this of course, left Stephen Harper vulnerable when Justin Trudeau promised to spend recklessly as Canadians forgot why balanced budgets were important.
Now, had the Reform Party still been in existence, it would have kept Stephen Harper honest and as Justin Trudeau began running deficits and raising the cost of living, Canadians would have been CONSCIOUSLY aware of why it was happening and why it’s bad.
Housing prices grew under Stephen Harper, why? Because of the same reasons Erin O’Toole has promised to secure Canadians nest egg, now, because the Conservatives under pressure are just like the Liberals, the main reason I think Erin O’Toole will win is that he’s a more fiscally responsible version of Justin Trudeau, but don’t let that confuse you with Erin O’Toole being pro-free-markets, Erin O’Toole and the Conservatives are very much in favor of supply management and protectionism
This is why Maxime Bernier will have to fight to win Beauce and remind Beauce voters that they’ll be better off with him representing them, furthermore, Maxime Bernier will not be the Prime minister of Canada in 2021 but he will be a voice for the voiceless
Supply management aside the People of Beauce will have carven out their own uniqueness in Canadian history, they would have sent to The House of Commons someone who might reshape Canadian politics. The people of Beauce will show Canadians why Quebec is different, Quebecers take risks, most Canadian provinces are unwilling to take, Maxime Bernier winning Beauce as the People’s Party of Canada leader puts the people of Beauce in the driver’s seat.
The people of Beauce gain nothing by voting for the Conservative Party, Beauce was forgotten by the Conservative Party of Canada after Andrew Scheer lost, the popularity of Beauce would have grown had they elected Maxime Bernier. With Richard Lehoux Beauce is an afterthought for the Conservative Party of Canada. If Beauce re-elects Maxime Bernier, it sends a very powerful message to the Conservative Party of Canada, that you’d better respect us.
Interesting times ahead!
