BREAKING: The Trump administration pulls an additional $450 million in funding to Harvard University citing the university’s failings to confront pervasive race discrimination and antisemitic harassment.
This is an addition to the $2 billion in grant that the administration has already frozen and the push to strip the school of its tax-exempt status. Last week, the Education Department under the Trump administration announced that Harvard will receive no new federal grants until it meets a series of demands.
Harvard has sued the federal government over the decision, saying it had nothing to do with concerns over antisemitism and that the Trump administration was seeking “unprecedented and improper” control over the school.
