Canada not making concessions needed for a NAFTA deal, says The Administration of President Donald Trump

I’m making sure that I put this information out here, I don’t care if it sounds repetitive, but it’s extremely crucial that I put this information out here for Canadians that are curious to know what’s really going on. I have to remind Canadians that Trump spent 50+ years in the private sector, Donald Trump doesn’t see the world the way your average politician sees the world. Trump isn’t even a normal business person. In Canada, our Finance minister Bill Morneau also comes from the private sector.

Bill Morneau and Donald Trump have a few things in common, both come from privileged backgrounds and both have knowledge of financing, the difference being however that Bill Morneau is more of bean counter((nothing wrong with that) whereas Donald Trump built Condos, Hotels, Casino’s which all required working with politicians and the private sector in an array of different aspects.

Being that he Donald Trump didn’t just build buildings in the United States he built buildings all over the world his approach and his economic IQ is a lot higher than he’s being credited for. There is a lot of Bill Morneau type of millionaires all over the world. A Bill Morneau millionaire looks at the financial picture and leverage because they’re often absent from the manufacturing of goods it’s only natural that a person who made their money in the financial sector would assume that manufacturing is a minuscule portion of the economy.

This is often the mistake made by socialists who often want to show that they’ve evolved from Marxism. Let the less developed countries handle the dirty manufacturing while we the privileged, master the services sectors. Also, we’ll, of course, accept those high paying, clean, tech software and assembly jobs, because we want to give the appearance that we’re far better off than the rest of the world. This is from my perspective and obviously from the Trump perspective is the wrong way to look at the world and this is what’s so hard for Trudeau’s cabinet to grasp about Trump.

I should also say that most of Trudeau’s advisors are in bed the corporatists, globalist that are secretly controlling the Canadian economy and one of the real players that are selling the wrong concept to the Canadian media are the union leaders. I have to point out again that I’m not anti-union, but joining a union should be a choice and not a demand. In many European countries, there are no minimum wages, minimum wages exist because of unions, the reason why unions want the government to regulate minimum wages is that it allows the unions to dictate what types of industries are allowed to flourish in Canada.

So, in a simple to understand term unions push businesses out of Canada they consider low paying via the minimum wage law. This, of course, helps corporatism to flourish in Canada because these higher minimum wages lead to less competition. If you ask most Europeans what move to Canada, the first thing they’ll point out is our lack of small mom and pop shops and the number of big businesses we have in their stead. This is corporatism and if you’re in Canada you’ve become so accustomed to it, that you think it’s normal, this isn’t normal, this is corporatism and it’s the reason why joining a union should be a voluntary action.

Minimum wages are a forced action and if you ask the Unions in Ontario they’ll tell you that they think minimum wages should be $20 an hour. I agree, unionized workers shouldn’t work for less than their union demands, but this idea that all businesses have to conform to a rule being pushed by Unions has to stop. Because higher minimum wages lead to more unemployment which means you create a problem where Canadians have a right to welfare, which is why Trudeau’s Liberals in an effort to stimulate the economy, has engaged in deficit spending which of course has to lead to a lot of public sector jobs being created.

This Public Sector jobs boom created by Trudeau’s Liberals is going to be a huge problem going forward and now that Canada is going to have to compete with the likes of South Korea in the United States market now that they’ve signed a free trade deal with the U.S Canada is facing some stiff competition, that it otherwise wouldn’t have had, had we not been so protectionist.

South Koreans make things, they’re huge on manufacturing and they’re in the auto sector, plus their wages are lower than Canada, plus in Ontario the unions here are fighting for higher wages, adding to this disaster in Mexico. I heard the union leader talking on the Canadian media that the deal Trump signed with Mexico is good for Canada because Mexican labor will go up. If you read the details of the deal what Trump assured was that American manufacturing jobs wouldn’t end up in Mexico. Trump want’s American manufacturing in America, not in Canada in America and he’s slapping tariffs on Canada because he considers us currency manipulators.

If you listen to the corporatists in Canada, they admit to being currency manipulators, often lowering the value of the loonie to bring American manufacturers into Canada. How does Trump know about all of this? He did international trading for 50 plus years in the private sector, in order to erect a tall building anywhere in the world, you also have to work with the public sector and understand there rules and regulations. Trump understands this stuff instinctively whereas Bill Morneau and Justin Trudeau who have similar family backgrounds as Donald Trump took the simpler road to riches.

Canada be warned that we do not have the moral high ground in NAFTA negotiations, I’m not saying we can’t win, but we don’t have the moral high ground. I actually think Trudeau winning NAFTA trade talks could be the nail in the coffin for the Canadian economy. Because as I’ve pointed out in prior posts, Tariffs are a Democrat, leftist thing, tariffs are taxes, tariffs in the U.S can pay for a lot of social programs, the tariffs Canada charge other countries help to pay for a lot of our social programs, now that Donald Trump has made tariffs the norm, it’s a no-brainer that in time the Democrats will put their own spin on tariffs.

Consider reading the Reuters article below, it’s eye-opening after reading what I just wrote.
