As a follower of Christ, I want to remind Christians of a fundamental truth: Jesus Christ freed humanity from traditions, idols, and oppressive systems.
Today, Canada — one of the most atheistic nations in the Western world — has drifted far from these foundations.
When you combine atheism with widespread belief in false gods, Canada’s political and economic direction suddenly makes a lot more sense.
Pierre Poilievre’s Missed Opportunity
I expected Pierre Poilievre to win.
Was I confident? Yes.
Am I surprised he lost? Absolutely.
What happens next? Accelerating inflation.
Pierre’s campaign, while energetic, lacked the simple, numbers-driven messaging that wins elections.
Stephen Harper’s 2006 victory came down to one clear promise: “I will cut your taxes.”
Doug Ford’s success in Ontario boiled down to one word: “Jobs.”
Poilievre, in contrast, tried to tackle too many issues at once.
In politics, complexity confuses voters. Simplicity wins.
Meanwhile, Mark Carney — positioned by many as a competent “businessman” — swooped in, offering moderate-sounding promises that masked a deeply dangerous agenda.
Why Mark Carney’s Victory Is Bad News
If you understand basic economics, you know this:
Mark Carney’s “Net Zero” policies are structurally inflationary and economically destructive.
But the real tragedy isn’t just about bad policy.
The real tragedy is how many people — even those calling themselves Christians — continue to put their faith in politicians instead of in Christ.
Once you put your faith in Christ, everything else — politics, economics, culture — becomes just marketing.
And when you understand the game, you stop falling for the slogans.
Faith, Freedom, and Financial Education
Despite Poilievre’s loss, his greatest contribution was helping educate Canadians about the economy.
That matters more than winning elections, because financial ignorance leads directly to national decline.
As a Christian, I firmly believe this:
If Canadians who reject Christ have any hope, it will come through financial education.
Evil often begins with ignorance.
And once you realize this, you stop measuring success by man’s standards, and start measuring it by Christ’s.
The Danger of Globalist Economics
Mark Carney — like many globalists — seems either blind to or unconcerned with the real-world impact of his policies.
Whether it’s ignorance or arrogance hardly matters: the result will be the same — crippling inflation, declining living standards, and growing poverty.
Many globalists genuinely believe that “managing” humanity is righteous.
They envision themselves as benevolent gods, deciding what’s best for everyone.
But reality — stubborn, brutal reality — always exposes their delusions when the numbers don’t add up.
And the numbers right now?
Europe is broke.
China is broke.
The U.S. is broke — on paper at least.
Yet America, because of its Christian roots and its respect for property rights, continues to attract investment from around the world.
Without Christ, even the concept of bodily autonomy doesn’t truly exist.
Without Christ, property rights erode — and with them, freedom itself.
Censorship Is Always a Red Flag
Throughout history, censorship has been the weapon of elites — from Egypt to Rome to modern socialist regimes.
Whenever you see a censorship agenda rise, you are seeing evil at work.
Today’s push for censorship in Canada and around the world isn’t about “safety” — it’s about control.
If you deny this, you deny history itself.
Pricing Reveals the Truth
You want to know the real competence of a man? Watch what happens to prices under his leadership.
Mark Carney’s policies will not create prosperity.
They will destroy purchasing power, crush small businesses, and erode the Canadian middle class.
Welfare states — including Canada — always vote themselves into inflation.
And once inflation takes hold, it eats through pensions, savings, and entitlements until poverty becomes the norm.
If you don’t understand this yet, you will soon.
In Conclusion: Prepare for Hard Times
Canada’s living standards are about to decline — rapidly.
The Canadian dollar will weaken domestically.
Labour costs will skyrocket.
And everything you take for granted — food, housing, services — will become more expensive.
This isn’t fear-mongering.
It’s reality.
The only real solution isn’t a politician.
It isn’t a new government program.
The only real solution is faith in Christ — and the hard work of re-educating yourself and your community about how economies actually function.
