The Canadian Supreme Court That Stephen Harper Helped Build Rules That the federal carbon price is entirely constitutional – March 25, 2021,
So Canada may soon suffer from the exact same problems that France suffers from now, which is artificially high energy prices, in fact, Canada, which has more per capita debt both privately and publically than France has, may have a harder time with the new Carbon Tax than France has, which would be terrible because at the very least Canada isn’t beholden to the EU.
The reason why I’m voting for the People’s Party of Canada is that I’ve tried the Conservative Party way of doing politics and it doesn’t work. I’ve also observed Donald Trump in the United States and the mistakes he made, trying to appease the Leftists.
If the Liberal are going to spend, tax and regulate, the Conservatives while they have their brief period in charge should simply reverse as much as they can and accept that they’ll probably lose the following elections. That’s how I imagine politics now.
If the Liberals spend recklessly and if Canadian voters prefer the reckless spending at the very least I can prepare myself for the coming economic collapse as opposed to imagining that eventually, Canadians will see that Leftism is economically unsustainable.
The mixed messaging confuses the masses, I’d rather Leftists imagine that I, as a Conservative am cheap and frugal rather than they imagine that I merely want the government to spend money on initiatives that are beneficial to me and people like me.
The Canadian government has no money, it’s hopelessly in debt, but the narrative is that it does have an endless supply of money. The Conservative Party of Canada just like the Liberal Party of Canada picks economic winners and losers, so why shouldn’t Liberals push government spending which now includes redistributing income to Liberal Preferred private corporate entities to its extreme limits.
The Carbon Tax is unconstitutional but the law is interpreted by the majority of liberal judges, which Stephen Harper helped to facilitate. If Justin Trudeau didn’t do it via a carbon tax, some other Left-wing nut would have found something. If you’re not willing to push back against tyranny, I’m not voting for you and I’m not helping to finance your campaign.
At the very least, now I can prepare for the massive price increase that will be the result of this new ruling that the Carbon Tax in Canada is now law!
