Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) and other demonstrators Show their Support of CUPW

Public sector unions are a huge problem in Canada, the Canadian economy is already very regulated and these regulations do a lot to protect Canadian workers, but there comes a time when a Union’s done enough, the real issue is that if Unions ever reach a point where they’ve done enough they’ll cease to exist and well, people will no longer pay a portion of their paychecks to find these special interest entities. Personally, I don’t have a problem with Unions in the private sector, what I do have a problem with are Unions in the public sector.

Unions in the Public sector are the main reasons why the Canadian economy is so restraint, so sluggish, why goods and services in Canada are so expensive and why the economy is increasingly getting more and more uncompetitive. I’ll point out that I’m not a fan of Private Sector Unions, I’ve written in length about Unifor Union Boss Jerry Dias and how he contributed to the destruction of GM in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Unions aren’t known for being industrious and neither is the Government, Government sets the rules, but corrupt Governments are often influenced by special interest groups. During NAFTA negotiations, Current Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau(December 2018) had as one of his advisors to the new NAFTA Jerry Dias.

When has a UNIFOR president ever done a trade? Why wouldn’t Trudeau consult with GM CEO Mary T. Barra? One would assume that Justin Trudeau whose a gender-neutral guy would speak to the women who are leading GM, I think they’d know a thing or two about NAFTA, but no Justin Trudeau sought the advice of their Union president, whose sole existence is to extract as much money out of GM as possible, the less profitable GM is the better it is for Unifor and the Union President took that same attitude to trade negotiations with Trump, the less profitable trade is for the Canadian economy the better.

This is why if people remember when the press questioned Jerry Dias about NAFTA negotiations the only thing Jerry mentioned was how Trumps trade deal would make Mexican workers get paid higher wages. Yet, when you spoke to the then Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto he said that wages wouldn’t be going up in Mexico because those higher paying jobs weren’t going to be in Mexico, they would stay in America, which was Trumps plan all along, Trump’s plan for American manufacturing was actually targeting Canada, not Mexico, why Trump was targeting Mexico was because as many people know Trump’s election promise revolved around building a southern border wall and protecting American interests, Trump initially wanted a Bilateral trade deal with Canada, Canada refused and one of the reasons Canada refused a bilateral trade deal revolved around Justin Trudeau deciding to wait for Mexico, if Canadians remember Jerry Dias was in support of this, I actually wasn’t against it easier, however, I thought it a better idea for Canada to match Trump with regulations and tax cuts, something that didn’t even occur to Justin Trudeau.

Why I bring all of this up is because unproductive, nonindustrial thinking is what Unions do, Unions come from a place of privilege, a place of entitlement a place of security, they’re not freedom lovers they’re security seekers. I want this company to take care of me for the rest of my life, I want the government to take care of me for the rest of my life. This collectivist ideology is actually rooted in Communism and most of the Unions of Canada have their roots in the Communist Party of Canada which by the way next to the Liberal Party of Canada is the oldest political party in Candian history.

CUPW, in my opinion, is one of the most destructive Unions in Canada today, however, the reality is that the union itself isn’t destructive it’s we the people that can’t seem to wake up the public to their deception that’s the problem. So at least for now, they’ll be allowed to destroy Canada a bit more.
